In a letter from the Lord High CEO of Crossroads Inc. It was made known the intent to begin the researching of Masisve Land Tanks.
"Our great Nation has a proud and mighty Navy, as well as a strong and defensive Air Armada. But Our people have never been too keen on a Standing army or Infantry, so these areas of Defense have been somewhat lacking" Said a General at a press conferance.
"Basically, rather than mobilize a new Armour division, we are going to begin looking into the feasbility of a Single massive Tank for defense purposes. Something along the lines of a Land Battleship, We should really need only one of these" He said joking as he described some of the offensive Capabilities.
"Right now, Were looking into the creation of in incredable new weapon to arm it... This is only in the Research phase, but we are calling the primarly Weapon for our Tank a "Auto-Wizz-Bang" Bassically Auto-Wizz-Bangs fire slivers of steel-jacketed cryo-H, a few grams of hydrogen held as a slush at near-absolute zero temperatures. Magnetically accelerated to relativistic speeds by superconducting coils within the weapon's barrel, the cryo-H is compacted and heated until it reaches fusion temperatures. The devastating effect of the Auto-Wizz-Bang is the natural outcome of shooting at a target with tiny pieces of burning star traveling at near-light velocities. Damage, measured at several megatons/second, is caused both by fusion effects and by the release of considerable kinetic energy at impact." The general concluded brashly.
