Sobakagrad - Kremlin Palace

Mid afternoon just after lunch yet right befor the last meal of the day, Premier Taratin sits in his office with a Hutuian made high caliber .50 AE pistol sitting in his lap waiting for his Brother to arrive. Taratin sits nervously sensing his brother will make a move since he doesn't have to go through security checks.

Within an hour there is a knock at the door and the Premier grips his pistol staring at the door. When the door opens, sure enough it is his brother Alexis grining as he opens the door. The man takes a few step foreward greets his younger brother the Premier with a nod then reaches into his jacket pulling out a machine pistol and firing shots at his brothers head and chest. Left without time to react the Premier is riddled with bullets and slumps lifelessly into his chair.

Alexis laughs then turns firing through the door and down the hall, "The Russian Grim Reaper is here to take his throne!" He yes as he drops the pistol and withdraws two .44 long barrels and kicks through the door and proceeds down the hall. He is soon met by 5 heavily armed guards who yell at him to stop yet he proceeds. Alexis fires at the men dropping one instantly and slowing down two others.

The men, wounded or not open fire from their rifles and drop Alexis after many shots as he is wearing body armor. The leader of the team then runs up to the dying man and slams the butt of his rifle into his gut furiously. Then in a rage filled moment spins the rifle around and stabs the bayonet into Alexis' throat and fires off another round ended the bloody coup d'eta.

Hutu National News Network - Breaking News - 1.5 Hours later

"Ladies and gentlemen I am Julius Kalashnikov for HNNN Channel 5 and we are sorry to interupt your regular programing but we have urgent news from Sobakagrad." Julius says looking slightly paniced as he wipes a drop of sweat from his brow. "Earlier this evening Premier Taratin was scheduled to be visited by his brother, Alexis Taratin. When his brother arrived he was allowed to by pass all security check and smuggled in a number of pistols under his over coat. When he met with the Premier he withdrew a pistol and shot him 5 times in the head and 3 in the chest and dropped the pistol in the room walking out where he was met by 5 armed guards. He withdrew two more pistols and opened fire on the men killing one and wounding 2 others. The guards returned fire and Alexis lay slain in the Kremlin. We now take you to Sobakagrad where Michial Fredonis stands by to tell us just went wrong."

The scene cuts to Sobakagrad where a man stands just infront of the Kremlin building with large flood lights lighting his area and a wall of the Palace. "Ladies and gentlemen of Hutu, tonite our leader lains slain as does his brother. It seems this all occured from a dispute of power after their father, the late Premier Nikita Taratin(James Roach I). The grude apparently was still left with Alexis when he came in to the Premier office. So, this was how it ended. Premier Taratin was assassinated at the age of 40, and Alexis died at the age of 44 both were survived by Premier Taratin's children as Alexis had none. The survivors are as follows; Victor Isosef IV, 16; Vassili 16; Josef, 13; Yuri, 10; Katherine, 18; Isabella, 11; Tatiana, 9. May you all survive this troubled times as no one of the blood line has stepped up to take power yet at this time. For HNNN I'm Michial Fredonis signing off."

OOC: I think you mean coup d'état.

OOC: Yea I do, but I don't know how to do fancy 'e's and I don't like adding the ending T cause it sounds like Ee-Taat and people are dumb now-a-days, so on and so fourth yadda yadda yadda.

We in Hutu thank you for your continued support, trust us no matter what, a member of the Taratin family will surely rise up to take power. As it is clearly stated in Section XVII Subpasage 9 Page R1 to Page R11. Once a Premier is in power if he/she cannot complete the elected term of 70 years(Yes it's set up as an elected Tzarist rule) then a member of the imediate family may take leadership for a 70 year term. So, by law any member of the Taratin family can step up and take the leadership of the nation. Although the person must be 18 years of age at the time of leadership. So, this limits the persons to take power to Katherine and the Premiers widdow Mrs. Katarina Taratin age 33.

Yet we still offer our condolences in this matter. We understand you don't want our assistance, but if there is another uprising our challange of power between the two heirs (and why wouldn't there be?), we will help put it down.

Gorgio, Hutu - Taratin Family Palace - 2 days later

Katherine and Katarina sit in the large high-ceiling family/meeting room of the palace watching the TV through the on going events after the assassination of Premier Taratin. After a long silence and a degree of tension between the two as either could be the future leader of the nation, the Commissar of Defense, Bakar Stefanida bursts into the room followed by a team of Spetsnaz who surround Katarina. The Commissar gives a nod to one of the men who then walks up to Katherine and removes her from the room.

"Katarina, how dare you pay the Premiers own brother to assassinate him, what a tainted game of tricks we play, all just to exploit yourself, your husband and your family, not to mention all of Hutu." The Commissar says withdrawing his side arm and without giving Katarina much time to react fires a single shot into her forehead.

He then snaps his finger at a couple soldiers and walks off. The remaining soldiers go about cleaning up the mess and carrying off the body.

Sobakagrad - Red Square - 3 Days 4 Hours later

Katherine Taratin stands before a massive crowd of people packed into the space in the center of Sobakagrad planted between massive buildings and the capital known as Red Square. Katherine is flanked by lines of armed guards as she prepares to give her speach.

"People of Sobakagrad, and Hutu." she begins then pauses clearing her throat. " It has been just over 3 days since the death of my father, our Premier, Victor Isosef Taratin III. Just when things were starting to clear up, my father was burried and things looked better, we find out my mother Katarina was the one that plotted the assassination, she has also be delt with. So now, to bring so closure to this situation, I am here to announce that my brothers, Victor Isosef IV and Vassili will be jointly sharing the thrown of Hutu. However, as they are not yet of age to rule, I will be the superficial head of the country untill they are old enough to rule. So, for the next two year, I Katherine Taratin will be ruling the peoples of Hutu. Thank you all for your support through these times."

Katherine now the first female leader of the nation has declared that she will rule the nation for her brothers for the next two years. She steps down off the podium and steps into her limo and her guards get into the escourt vehicles and the convoy speeds off.
