OOC-Alrighty then, this is the new way my nation is gonna run. This is a pseudo alternate history thing, so here's a handy timeline of events.
1989-Ultranationalist group takes over Soviet Union. All reforms canceled, and funding begins shifting to advanced weapon systems.
1995-Unopposed by America due to problems at home, USSR takes Iran and Azerbaijan to replenish their oil supplies.
2010-Both USA and USSR begin developing and launching SDI, soon space has become a battleground.
2014-USA begins assault on Soviet Arabia, USSR opens second front in Europe. East and West Germany become battlegrounds. Advanced SDI prevents nuclear war.
2018-War ends with Soviet Union collapsing after oil supplies failing when USA wins Soviet Arabian Theater.
2019-Peace treaty signed between Ex-USSR nations and Allied nations, devastated West Germany begins to rebuild with Allied help.
2020-Berlin, devastated, becomes a no-man's land. The berlin wall becomes a neutral zone, with fortifications stretching along either side. An ultranationalist West Germany, led by the "Dogs of War" and a Stalinist East Germany sit at a standstill.
2029, January-Right now.

The capital city, New Berlin, was a combination between futuristic architecture and a fortress. In it's center sat a castle-like building, the Capital Fortress, where President Hans Groder sat in his seat, looking at his "Strategos" or military advisory board. Over the desk was a map of the Germanies, with markings denoting various military positions on both sides. To the side of the table was a packet of photographs, pictures of dead bodies in heaps in the streets. East German soldiers, rifles in hand, stood to either side of the bodies.
"So these are the Jews they found?"
"Ja, an underground group, shot up because religon is illegal there. And this is just the stuff that has come out."
"So, will we proceed?"
The president leaned over the table, the generals clad in their uniforms looking over the map.
"Yes, General. How long can we go, letting these people suffer? Anyone of religion or opposing ideals is killed without trial. None of the old NATO or East cares, they're too busy licking their wounds from WWIII. But the war is still on here. We must act before these people make their moves."
"Very well then, tell them to commence, OPLAN Yellow-2."
"Ja. As you wish."

Near Kreuzberg, 4th Armored Division.
The Leopard V tanks came to life as their hydrogen cells activated, 140mm ETC cannon poking from their camoflauged hides. Then, the rumble as the tanks exited their hides, and stormed out of the forest. Twigs and dead trees snapped under their armored hulks as, in front of them, flashes lit up the night over the East German combat positions near the city. They quickly passed into the no mans land, craters from detonated mines scarring the fields. A turret swiveled as an East German bunker began to open up with 14.5mm machine gunfire. A wooshing roar was heard as the Coaxial 40mm gun let loose rocket propelled rounds into the bunker, which was enveloped in smoke as rubble was sent into the air. East German men ran out of their camps, hands in the air, looking on helplessly as the armored division made their push.

OOC-I didn't write this for nothing.

The primary pushes north of Berlin and in Kreuzberg, are met with heavy opposition. East German forces equipped with T-212UM MBTs have inflicted their share of losses on HDK/West German advances.
[Kruezberg Battlezone, 20 miles into East German lines]
The tank squadron, 4 Leopard Vs, advanced through the forest scarred by artillery fire.
"Sir, we have East German armor up ahead. I'm looking at 4 BTR-120s and a BMP-6."
"Order the unit to engage. Call in Delta element and tell them to move up while we flank to the left."
The first unit to detect the Leopards was the BMP-6. It's 76mm ETC cannon swiveled towards the turret, the Leopard's 8mm Hyveloc gun and countermeasures to effective for AT lock, and belched 4 HE rounds at the lead tank.
The Leopard rumbled, and turned it's 40mm Automatic RPG toward the BMP, it's laser rangefinder locking in the BMP-6, and opened up. The lead 2 rounds unfurled tiny fins in flight, their millimeter wave radar sighting the BMP as they slammed into it's side. The turret seemed to vaporize as the main gun flew off from the burning mass. The BTRs, outgunned with only 40mm autocannon, began to turn tail. Ripples of RPG fire caught them, East German soldiers running out only to be gunned down by machine gunfire. Ahead of them was a valley, where an embattled East German base camp stood, artillery on either hill.

The KF-9 Swallow screeched over Kreuzberg, it's wingmate behind it. Each was using active radar cancellation technology taken from the French and Americans, and were using LADAR to keep silent. But the two aircraft would not have it that easy. The MiG-47 "Freeloaders" they were detecting may not have their LADAR, but their IR was just as effective. An alert on their LADAR screens confirmed this as AAM-93 "Applejack" heat seeking missiles leapt from their internal bays. The first pilot swore as he banked, popping off flares. But the missile was now intent on it's kill. In a last attempt, the pilot squeezed off a retaliatory heatseeker in return, before the front of his aircraft seemed to vaporize and scatter across the country. The second pilot followed suit, the two MiGs each taking an HDK missile. The last pilot calmed himself as he went low over, preparing his JDAMs. fingers of dotted light reached up at him, but he persisted, his heavy breathing coming to a sigh as the self guided bombs fell towards their targets. His relief was the last emotion he experienced. As he flew past, a DU slug entered the fuselage and exited through his chest and the canopy, the plane smearing itself as it found itself without a pilot.

So basically you're attacking Germany for killing loads of Jews?
