Ladies and gentlemen, it has, unfortunately come to the stage where we had to make a decision about Bullybeef. After several discouraging reports bully beef with the newly aquired nuclear technology planned to take out multiple nations.

This we fell was wrong. Nuclear technology, we feel must be stopped. Even my nation of vroshnak will soon be discarding of my nuclear technology to become a peaceful, non-threatening nation.

After hours of discussion between the governments of multiple nations we gave Bully beef time to disarm without any hint of violence. unfortunately the government failed to commit and agree with the terms to disarm of nuclear technology for the safety of ALL nations.

Between the hours of 20:35 and 21:15 hours GMT on the 14th January 2004 the USSRS Khrushchev launched seven of its short range, guided, low yield, nuclear missiles. The missiles were targeted upon the seven largest military installations likley to house nuclear weapons. Six of the missiles met their target and detonation was confirmed, the seventh missile lost control and had to be aborted.

The downed missile has since been recovered by the crew of the USSRS Khrushchev and made safe. The Southern Pacific Fleet is now moving to join the USSRS Khrushchev off the coast of Bullybeef to ensure stability in the wake of the nights events.

Aboard the PRSS Senza, Titan-class SSN

After conducting a highspeed run towards Bullybeef, the Senza was now creeping towards the Khrushchev at less than five knots in order to avoid detection. Once within five miles, two of the torpedo tubes were loaded with Mk48 torpedos, and one was loaded with a noisemaker decoy to cover the subs escape.
Once the tubes were loaded, the two Mk48s were fired out of the tubes and sped towards the Khrushchev with the hope of eliminating it and it's nuclear weapons.

At 22:10 hours on the 14th January 2004, The USSRS Khrushchev destroyer class was struck by two torpedoes of unknown origin. The South Pacific Fleet has been alerted and is making their way at the most possible haste toward the stricken ship. She has taken severe damage along her port flank and is taking on water, the most recent casualty figures suggest that 27 crewmen were killed on impact, 7 were later drowned and 42 have been reported wounded suffering severe shrapnel wounds and 3rd degree burns. Nonessential personal have begun the evacuation process and are being ferried to the USSRS Kraken - carrier class - of the South Pacific Fleet by all transport helicopters available in the area. The USSRS Khrushchev has set course and is limping out into international waters in an effort to rendezvous with the South Pacific Fleet before she eventually sinks. The North Pacific Fleet in conjunction with the Indian Ocean Battle Group has been diverted to the scene to ensure stabilisation in the area.

The USSRS Khrushchev is now combat ineffective.

The Peoples Republic of Skarsgrad will be in a national state of morning for the lost servicemen for then next 3 days.

A decoy beacon was later found by a light patrol vessel, often associated with the deployment of submarines, upon further inspection its lineage has been traced to the nation of Shildonia.

We have no imperialist idea’s for the nation of Bullybeef. Our actions were purely the result of a request of support from the nation of Vroshnak due to the fact that Bullygeef had acquired nuclear technology and was planning to implement it in an aggressive manner. Intel gained by an informant to Vroshnak suggested that the nation of Bullybeef was not only planning to attack Vroshank without due provocation, but this behaviour was a common trait and had been observed before!
As for the so called ‘communist military build up’, only one destroyer was present in the attack on Bullybeef, this was an intentional display of good will and that we had no intentions to occupy the nation.
I must assure you that our nuclear arsenal was only deployed due to the severity and extreme tension of the situation. A preliminary strike against military targets was deemed appropriate to minimise any civilian casualties that may have resulted from an indiscriminate attack on Vroshnak by Bullybeef.
Our forces will not withdraw until the either the seventh and final military installation capable of housing nuclear materials is destroyed or international weapons inspectors are allowed to gain access to all areas of the state of Bullybeef without hindrance nor subversion!

However, in this case we are looking at the lesser of too evils. We cannot go back and remove the fact that the nuclear weapons directed at the Rogue Nation of Bullybeef hit their targets, but we can now direct our efforts to prevent this from happending again.

Agents from the PR of Wookumbumble have been reporting to me personally on the spread of nuclear technology within the Pheonix Guard region, the area in which the RN of Bullybeef used to reside, and we can proove that the RN of Bullybeef was prepared to use its arsenal against nations within the Pheonix Guard, the ACA and beond. good morning. at 05:00(gmt) today, the aircraft carrying the provisional government's cheifs of state crashed over the badlands of wookumbumble. as yet there are thought to be no survivors, and no confirmed cause of the crash.

it has now been confirmed that there are no survivors of this mornings crash. authorities say that there was no surface-to-air or air-to-air weapons used in this incident, and that the cause was either massive systems failure, or a bomb planted on the plane.

the peoples republic of wookumbumble is saddened to hear of the loss of the plane carrying the heads of state of the Disputed Territories of Skys Edge. Initial reports indicate a bomb exploded on board the aircraft caused the accident, though investigators from both countries are on the scene.

The USSRS Khrushchev has been successfully moored between two cruiser class vessels from the Northern and Southern Pacific Fleets which have rendezvoused off the coast of Bullybeef with the Indian Ocean Battle Group. There they shall remain in support of those forces performing peace keeping duty until stability is established and a provisional government is founded without opposition.

We regret that we cannot diretly donate any ground forces for peace keeping duty due to the high levels of resentment toward our forces from the local population with would undoubtedly lead to unacceptable casualties.

the bullybeef threat has been illiminated, we didnt have anything against the guy, he was just threatening the international community with nuclear war and thats just is'nt cricket! so we've taken out 85% of his installations capable of housing such weapons. its all pretty much done and dusted.
