Hrstrovokian President General Otakar approaches the podium solemnly, a shade whiter than usual and void of his trademark charisma. The Press room hushes up.

[The following address is by General Otakar.]

"People of Hrstrovokia; assembled members of the Associated Press, I have some unfortunate news."

"At 17:34 yesterday, 67 members of the Palestine Liberation Front, a terrorist organization with a national affilation to Al Anbar, struck the Hydro-Electric Dam on the river Lech in western Hrstrovokia.

The Armed forces personnel guarding the Dam were taken by suprise, and in the following intense firefight, 48 were killed, along with 29 workers from the Lech Dam. GEK Units were deployed to counter-attack, but did not arrive in time.

At 18:56, an extremely large amount of RDX explosives were detonated, deep within the Dam. The Dam burst, and flooded the valley below. In the subsequent flooding, 1,753 residents of Stafeen, Metternitcha and Soldatstad were drowned.

The towns have been effectively wiped off the map. The death toll is not final.

At 20:15, The Exhibit Shopping Mall in Marinth was obliterated by 8 tonnes of RDX in 4 vans, parked close to the main building. 320 people die in the blast and fire which ravages the Mall. There are few survivors.

And finally, at 20:45, the Valinon Embassy in Marinth is destroyed by a Car-bomb attack. The Hrstrovokian Ambassador is killed, along with 114 Embassy workers.

The State News Service recieved a message from the Palestine Liberation Front, claiming they had commited the acts, and warned their would be further attacks on Hrstrovokia, Valinon and Lusaka and the Confederacy of Boroglia and Western Asia.

I personnally declare my sole ambition to find the perpetrators of these vile acts, and find out why 2,350 citizens of this state had to die in violent attacks, and to prevent further atrocities from happening.

That is all I have to say at this moment. Our thoughts can only be, at this time, with those bereaved unfairly. We shall not falter in our effort for justice."

We know what it is like to be attacked by terrorists, and offer any help we can. Just ask.

The entire PLF should be annihilated. Let us know if there is tactical help that you need against these scumbags. We're always willing to help against such vermin.

The Incorporated Nations of Exonerate offers our condolences, and urges both sides to stop fighting and negotiate a lasting peace. The fighting continues because both sides are unwilling to back down. If both sides were willing to make concessions...

We could serve as a mediator for negotiations between the two sides.

These PLF people know only one thing and that is violence. They must reap what they sow.

Isochronous will offer every man available to search down and destroy the PLF scumbags.

Al-Anbar has 48 hours, or until he sees this thread and replies, to handover all PLF terrorists harboured in his nation, and promise to destroy all training camps within a week from he posts, or face complete annihilation.

Why do you think the PLF are attacking you? Are you linking them to real world PLO?

In the real world, I agree with the PLO, though I do not support them, I simply understand their motives.

OOC: IRL, I can understand too... They've been oppressed for quite a bit.

They were kicked out of Jordan for terrorism. That says enough in my book. Everytime the Israeli's try to broker a peace they go and blow up a bus stop. Kill em all.

We know what it's like with terrorists like PLF taking up arms for their cause. It is unfortunate another nation is suffering the evils of Palestinian terrorism.

All Lusaka mourns for Hrstrovokia's losses, and for those of former foe Valinon. A government spokesperson asks that if Lusaka can feel for Valinon, a nation with which she was once at war, can not Palestine seek similar reconciliations?

Many in Lusaka are confounded by the absence of demands or requests from the PLA in conjunction with its threats against the republic, and militarymen are frantically attempting to arrange improved security. Worries focus on Arab-majority Zanzibar island and its various allied military bases. It is hoped that the coinicdental military parades today will make potential attackers think twice.
