The USSY has begun construction of a new super gun. This gun is based on the V-3. A shell is fired down a barrel. Sticking out from the barrel are other charges that boost the shell as it flys past them.
This gun is estimated to stretch through half the country. The cost will be that of cheap due to the guns basicness, it will be constructed out of cheap metal. The cost it estimated to be 3,Million.

Since it has so many charges going off and is made from a cheap metal, wouldnt it blast the barrel in two?
I do not believe the construction of such a gun as cheap as this is possible
You dont know its location and only the top most trusted officials are to be allowed to construct it no New people.

Good thing you aren't in my region or else I'd have to take this out.
The Charges would not do anything, they are designed to blast themselves out so no damage is done to the barrel. And this project is going to be cancled until further notice.
This will cost you billions and its a fairly stupid idea anyway. Where would a Nation of your size get the money from. Think about it.

It stretches through "half the country"? Such a contraption is impossible from an engineering point of view. The angle of elevation would be so great that the device would block out the sun. At 3 million dollars I can only imagine it is being built from expensive, imported cardboard. Meanwhile, it would be such an easy target from the air if it were possible (which it is not).
The Empire of Benicius on the other hand is currently developing a network of advanced defence weapons to span the continent which are capable of penetrating the Earth's atmosphere and destroying enemy satellites and the like in space. Relatively small, but extremely effective. The prototype tested extremely well a year ago.

hmm i think this idea is coppied.. : / i magine........ 1 shell on the cannon and boom the whole barrel will fall and destroy 1/2 the country.

Instead of research in what seems impossible or on the military, can you not do the world a service by putting stock into ecological and economical innovations? While we aren't saying that you absolutely must nor are we saying that you shouldn't continue with the research, it is simply a suggestion.
