The Peoples Republic of Skarsgrad has commenced the research of nuclear warheads and their delivery systems. This research may take some time to reach completion due to our nations weakened industrial and economic state.
All bussiness and commerce in the nation is hereby under ownership of The State. All free enterprises are now deemed void. In order to build the strength of our nations wavering economy, all industry, manufacturing and servcies will be dictated by The State for the foreseeable future. Our first resolution is to implement specialisation and division of labour throughout our nations working economy, greater investment will also be made in plant and industrial sectors. These measures should precipitated the eventual stabilisation and growth of our economy.
The armed forces of Skarsgard have recieved improved funding to pay for a new consignment of super-sonic Comet MK.1 bombers, armed with high yield explosive, napalm and soon nuclear payloads.
The Peoples Republic of Skarsgrad has completed the research into basic nulear warheads and their delivery systems. Our nations weapons development and heavy industries (NWDH Industries) are focusing on the production of these warheads, combined with radar activated bomb and ICB delievery systems, these weapons will be available to the national military and for trade to select nations in the comming months.
The cruisers USSRS Brechnev and Kirov, accompanied by the carrier USSRS Petre and the submarine USSRDSV Xavier with their support ship USSRS Red Star which, is itself escourted by the destroyer USSRS Potempkin have departed our waters to 'patrol' The Eastern Pacific and the waters surrounding the nation of Madeds. The fleet is armed with the latest low yield nuclear tipped short range missiles. They shall comitt no act of aggression unless provoked, their role is to ensure stability and continued peace in the area.
The Peoples Republic of Skarsgrad has closed its borders to all except trade and essential transport, the borders and coastline of our nation is currently being fortified against any action taken against subversive nations. Bunkers, shelters and early warning systems are also being installed throughout our towns and cities, these are but precautionary measures taken due to the turbulent world in which we live.
The USSRS Khrushchev has detached from the Southern Pacific Fleet and made a preliminary attack against the rogue nation of Bullybeef, using 7 of her 15 compliment short range, low yield, guided nuclear missiles. She has taken extensive damage from two torpedo strikes on her port flank and is making way to port.
The Home Defence Fleet has departed from the coast of Madeds without incident. The fleet is currently in international waters, making its way for re-armament and re-fueling at the home docks along the coast of Skarsgrad where they shall remain on patrol duty.
The Indian Ocean Battle group along with the North and South Pacific Fleets are alson returning to The Mother Land for the same purpose. The USSRS Khrushchev is under tow and will arrive 6 days after the main fleets, once arrived she shall undergo extensive repairs and be re-armed to replace the warheads implemented in the Bullybeef incident.
The North Atlantic Fleet is currently patrolling off the coast of Southern Carolina in preparation for the planned liberation of the occupied state. The South Atlantic Fleet is currently on route to the area to provide additional support to the Northern Atlantic contingent.
Our research divisions are currently focusing on the production of Bison Mk.1 Bi-ped Battle Suits, NWDH Industries are already preparing for their eventual construction.

The Liberation of Southern Carolina has been canceled due to the outbreak of civil war between the nations of Garforth. The North Atlantic Fleet has broken off for patrol duty off the coast of Europe. The Southern Atlantic Fleet has returned to its duties in the South Atlantic.
The USSRS Jantro Equine has made emergency departure from Port Charleston and is currently heading for rendezvous with the North Atlantic Fleet so that they may proceed northward to Europe together.
Production of the Bison Mk.1 Bi-ped Battle Suits is being intensified, they are to be loaded onto a mass transport vessel along with five regiments of heavy infrantry and three tank divisions and proceed to the corresponding position of the North Atlantic Fleet, there they shall remain until invasion is deemed appropriate.
