Your timing couldn't be better. I might as well let it slip now...

During Neo-Mekanta's assault on Mekanta, they opened up a sealed tunnel. What was strange about this tunnel wasn't the fact that it was perfectly straight and round. That's standard for metal tubes with railgun mechanisms inside. We're currently studying these systems, and we believe we can get them operational again. We may be able to recreate these Rail Launchers for your nation, LAO.

We also managed to bring our space opservation facilities online to see if the Phalanx was still a threat.

It isn't. But its structure is still remarkably stable despite the devestating blow to the Megagun facilities.

It may be possible to give the Phalanx a massive repair and refit job and use it to defend our nations and possibly serve as a jump-off point into space.

I sound a bit too much like Axis saying this, but...

Adjutant chuckled as she sent it, turning to address the AI comming to see her. "Ma'am, we should have preliminary plans for the new Phalanx within the hour."

We propose that it is run by a multinational (as in CF, Mekanta, LAO, and Tyraich [sp?]) force, and that codes be implemented to prevent its firing against any of our nations.

Once we finish figuring out how to synthesize Xenium we can share the technology with you. It is the basis of "our" hyperspace technology.

Adjutant chuckles as she sets up a video feed to relay the next message. "Our friends in Central Facehuggeria... You're going to regret offering to host the party in your capitol."

Adjutant blinks a moment, then blushes. "Ack! I mean! Axis is comming for your women! I mean..."

"... Oh, I give up. I'm going to turn whoever wrote that thing into a coffee table..." An AI moves as if it were to speak, but she puts up a finger to stop it. "... I know I wrote it... You don't have to tell me..."

Tayricht's Ambassador will be happy to attend. Might i suggest a four part victory conference, each part held in a different nation?

That is totally awesome. One question, would we be able to get some new space technology from one of your nations so we could, umm, get there? We currently do not have a space program and really want one. If any of you have some input, say something.

Adjutant freezes, blinking repeatedly. Several AIs are laughing hystericly in the background. General Axis walks past them, collecting gear credits. "See! See! She's getting desperate! She can't go too long without phallic imagery or adjutives related to such!"

"Shut up, Axis! This is being broadcast to our allies! You're lucky I don't have big and thick to-" She storms off as the AIs fall over laughing, glaring at Axis. "I should put him back in the hospital... I really should..."

Central Facehuggeria has numerous comments and questions.

1. What is the maximum sized ship that the shipyard can produce?

2. Are facilities available for the maintence of capital starvessels? (Even though we currently have none, we are looking into acquiring some)

3. Some factories may be useful (Military production factories, etc.)

4. We believe that it should have a self destruct option, it wouldn't do to have an enemy take it from us just like we took it from Neo-Mekanta.

5. What sort of reactor powers the station? If necesary, we can install CF Gamma grade fusion generators.

6. How much will it cost?

7. We have fortutiously just ordered a fighter design from a large space corporation we have had contact with. We can use these to defend the station once they begin rolling off the assembly lines. (Klonor/Foehammer customizable ship store)

8. We will help any allied nation that asks for aid.

1. Our current estimate from our simulations is about a half-mile in length, width, and about a fourth of a mile in depth.

2. Yes, those are planned to be in the spaceport.

5. Well, it seems some of Neo-Mekanta's power systems are still active, but we'll have to send up a probe to see if any of the main reactors can be salvaged. More generators may be neccessary anyway, given that many sections are either new, or were completely oblitorated.

6. Four of our top supercomputer AIs have been working at this. So far their estimate is "a lot." Exact words. "A lot" tends to mean in the three to five trillion range

Of course. We will send Doctor Paul Enis. Our foremost leader in advanced weapons technology. Accompanying him will be two Elite body guards (we aren't sure we wiped the station clean of neo-mekantan foes yet, are we?)

Anyway, some concern has been raised amongst certain elements of the CF military that the railguns aren't long and hard enough... :wink:

Another space shuttle, the Phallic Menace is currently undergoing trials with a synthetic Xenium reactor. We'll let you know if it works out and share the technology.

IC: Five trillion is a lot of money. It will take many years (Around a rl week?) to gather that much money without destroying our militaries' budgets.
