Long ago one major kingdom dominated Tristfall, infact the land was named after it, The Kingdom of Tristfall. The kingdom was stable and a large power until King Durin came to power. He was very oppressive and had many people killed. People rebelled and the nation was tore apart, some of the new nations that were created were the:
Britonian Corsairs, led by Sebastian Payne the infamus pirate, controlled the Islands of Britonia, a province of many islands and a small part of the Cuirass Coast. They did lots of raids by sea and at first they were very brutal then they realized they were going to turn out like the kingdom so they became more merciful but still are masters of the sea and naval warfare, although fair fighters on the land. It is a growing nation and its influence is wide.
Xeno Terrorists(also know as Xenos): They started out raiding main trade routes and setting off bombs in major places, then they wound up capturing the eastern provence of Sultania and their influence has spread on to other provinces. They formed a confederacy led by their leader Leroy Karzi who is opressive and uses propoganda to fuel the on going fight against the king. Xenos also operate inside of many provences under the kingdoms controll in terrorist cells waiting for orders. They are also closely allied to the Britonian Corsairs.
Olmut: When chaos broke out they succed from the kingdom and set up a democracy in the provence of Olmut. The people are free and peaceful but are willing do defend their land with curage. Thier president, Albert Brickston, is a fair and good to his people. They now remain neutral to the kingdom they broke away from and to the rebels it fights.
The original kingdom has changed much, now it is ruled by King Nasrudin who has changed some of his fathers doing but still isnt a free place to live. The kingdom has lost much of its land over time and faces the threat of a terrorist attacks by the Xenos. The king has been trying to improve his army to reclaim the land he and his father have lost over the years but he needs allies to help him. New nations have been forming in the region like:
Gunseig: A republic ran by senators from each of thier states. They are fair to thier people and have a mix of liberal and conservitive people. They have a small military built on defence and to maintain peace.
Camburia: Ran by the evil dictator Soloman Noore, they maintain a huge military for their population and land. They appear to be on the brink of war but nobody has any idea who. All nations in the region are on high alert and are keeping thier eye on Camburia because of thier army. They recently developed nuclear technolagies to ranging from power plants to weapons.
Also a nation that has been in this terroritory but has remained isolated from any politics or war is Stoley. It was around even before the Kingdom of Tristfall but is across a large body of water known as the Britonian Sea. It is a HUGE nation where people get some freedoms and rights but not to many. Its ran by the beloved ruler Marcus Brown. if they picked sides they would give a great advantage but show no signs of insolating themselves from the rest of Tristfall.
