Having recently accidently discovered that mass amounts of power can be harnessed from common potatos though a secret process that evokes a brilliant blue light, three nations who where involved in the research have banded together in an alliance.
As of yet little applicable use has been found for this new technology other creating cheap and effective mood lighting in the reasearch labs but leading scientists in each of the respective countries predict that one day mass amounts of other forms of energy could be garnered from potatos through similar means.
One scientist has even lost his ability of vision though the project having looked directly into the potato as the reaction occured. "Blue... Blue... Blue." is all he has been able to mumble ever since the incident.
