Argyllia is still a part of the British empire standing by its mother country, it was also a part of South Africa but broke away when sanctins where put in place because of the race issues. It is a large Island south-west of cape of good horn and mainly depends on its navy for defence
Prime Minister Burke elected
With a overwhelming majority Andrew Burke was elected prime minister of the large island with promises of better health care and developing the economy while reducing expenditure on the armed forces. Some cynics have pointed out that the country may not be a democracy for two much longer.
Military Excersises
At the moment a multi-national excersise is taking place involving 7 other countries, the Argyllian MoD stated 'excersises have commenced most satisfactoryily blighted only by the near invaison of one of the countries taking part, the Argyllian army has learnt some valuable infomation about tactics used in todays fluid battle enviroment.'
Global Trade
Argyllia depends on trade from other countries as it only produces 60% of its own food, the only natural resources are deposits of iron ore and oil off shore which is drilled out by oil rigs. Any nation wanting to trade please post on this thread we will be eternally grateful.

The flagship of the Argyllian Merchant navy was launched yesterday weighing in at 100,000 tons the Ro-Ro ship is the biggest in service. The ship can be called up for military service if needed.
