You know what else would bring cheers from the control room it would be if you actually used full stops at any time in your entire paragraph because it looks really stupid without!

An old missile formerly belonging to Jeruselem was launched from a base in Lima Beens. It flies 1000 miles out then turns around then the system springs into action. Across the ocean there are dozens of small batteries with 4 tubes and 30 missiles. They are told its location by a satellite and 7 missiles are launched. The first stage (applies to launched Jericho II missiles) goes for 10 seconds and accelerates up to mach 0.7 then the second stage explodes as planned. It accelerates the missile to mach 7 then the 7 missiles try to make contact. Two lose track of missile, four miss but one hits cheers are heard all over the control room. Test suceeded!
