From this day forth, Melforlo severs all trade and diplomatic connections with itranto. we have sent 12 destroyers, 4 submarines and 2 carriers into the gulf of Itranto. Following a sighting by carrier based aircraft, the light cruiser FNS Orlean caught and boarded a small pleasure craft which was apparently trying to run the blockade and took its crew into custody. An Ohio class Trident sub will contain the money. (If you don't know this, a Trident has never ever been spotted by an enemy vessel or aircraft once underwater)

First, 5 LA Class Attack Submarines and 6 Whildbey Island Class Dock Landing Ships (this landing ships are large and are like a mini-destroyer and armed with several weapon systems) will arive at the blockage and will signal the blockage ships to prove that it is friendly. The attack fleet will stop at the enterance to the docks. There my fleet will arm all guns and standby. Then the Trident will slowly appoach the dock underwater at very low speeds, emitting almost no sound. The Trident will signal the dock through flashs in the parascope, then surface and dock. The money will be left in crates on the dock. After the money is left, the Trident will submerge and leave into the sea. The attack fleet will stay while 1,000 IL-86s will land on a grass landing strip near the dock. The slaves will be loaded onto the planes. Flights will continue landing and taking off and flying back to Great Romeo until all slaves are gone.

Then 3 Nimitz class carriers loaded with new stealth fighters will help the blockage effort. The submarines will also stay if people want them to.

Then, all other forces will leave.

Behind them, two Viper SSNs pursued. The Second Fleet, Third Battlegroup, was arrayed in an arc arround the speeding ships.

Eisen glanced to the window, saw the approaching high speed jet boats. He whirled back. "Check fire control! Get solutions!" The Overlord's primary computer began to calculate, the fore battery of the Dominator Class swivelled with swift precision. There was a resounding clank, and shells were loaded. Eisen was on the phone, calling higher up the chain.

He lowered the phone, hung it up. "We've got a green light." Throughout the Fleet, ships armed their weapons.

The Aegis Class Artemis broadcast a simple message to the running ships. "This is the Kaukolastan Second Fleet. You are in a blockade zone. Halt immeadiately, all crew to deck, power down your vessel. Comply, or we will open fire. If you are not hauling slaves, you will not be harmed. We guarantee fair trial. You have one minute to comply."

The ships accelerated, trying to run between the closing nets. Eisen turned to the Lieutenant at gunnery control. "Briggs! Full barrage on projected location in forty-five seconds!"

"Aye, sir!"

"Sallig! Warn the Vipers to fall back and fire after our barrage."

"Aye, sir!"

The trimaran dreadnought's main computer calculated the vessel's speed, bearings, and handling characteristics, and extrapolated the likely location at Eisen's time-frame. The batteries aligned on this point, bringing a broadside of four 18.1 and twelve 16 inch guns to bear.

"Fire!"

The guns thundered, and the Overlord slid through the water, it's rocking reduced by its trimaran design. The thunder and fire cleared, and there was a moment of silence.

The three runners charged forward, oblivious to the threat behind the message they were seeing. "If you continue, you will be destroyed." This was more true than they had thought, for the point they would be at was already targetted for annihilation, and they could only stop to avoid a fate that was already cut. But they did not.

There was no whistle, no hum, no warning. One second, there were three boats, the next, there was a wall of water. The shells exploded as they impacted, and the fountains spouted hundreds of feet in the air. These died away, to reveal whirling debris and falling rubble. The stormy waters slushed about, and the downward pull yanked most of the ruin away.

Several moments later, the drift began to bob to the surface, with several bodies. The waters had a distinct red tint. Beneath, the Vipers prowled like sharks, waiting...

Alright, you know what? I was gunna keep this under wraps. But I can wait no longer. The Ithrantian slaves/convicts, aboard the BSS Bumblebee, were given hot food and cold drink.
