The HNT (Hazak Network Television) has a Breaking News report, interrupting a showing of Johannes Bartholomew's report on Oak trees and their purposes. Albert Alberto, the head anchor, is seen at his desk, nervously speaking

"This just in ladies an Gentlemen! An unfolding incident. Our great nation of Hazak has been struck by Radical Terrorists...Armed terrorists have currently taken over our nations lagest oil rigs. They have planted large C4 bombs in different parts of the rig. If they blow up the rig, the enviroment will be plauged for years with the mass amount of oil spilled into the water-" Albert puts his hand into his ear piece. "This just in folks! Ira Rothstein, the dictator of our great nation is holding a press conference. Lets watch..."

The screen goes to the press conference with Ira Rothstein speaking...

"Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is true that our country has been struck by terrorists. If they blow up the oil rig, the ecosystem will be set back decades. It is imperative that we stop this force. In addition, they are holding the workers on the rig hostage. We are sending in our strike team in along with the terrorists demands."
A reporter stands up and asks a questions

"What are the demands?"
Ira Rothstein replies,
"I cannot go into details but it consists of large sums of money and a transport. We also aren't sure of the identities of the terrorists. Their organization, cause, and identity are unknown to us...We hope to have this settled soon. You shall remain updated. No more questions please."

Ira Rothstein steps down from the podium as the press all stands up and shouts questions. Ira Rothstein goes behind the curtains, as the transmission ends, back to Albert

"We'll keep you updated folks..."

"Reichsfuhrer, I have an idea..." said General der Panzertruppen, Kurt Heyser, "I propose that we test out our new Gruppepanzertruppen Zwei, in this conflict. All we really need is one night, at a particular target. We infil them in through the over of night in a Blackhawk, let them take a little while to mount an assault on a small enemy position, and see what they can do."

It didn't look like Reichsfuhrer Sinning was very convinced. Perhaps it was because he wasn't very keen on losing valuable Military assets, in such a foolish way.

"I'm not sure, General. We've used up quite a few assets training these special Panzertruppen, they are the finest soldiers we've ever known, theoretically anyways." he said

"But, Reichsfuhrer, it is the best way to test them, to work out any kinks. I give you my word that they will NOT fail!" Heyser begged.

"Alright," Sinning nodded, "But it will be your ass, if this becomes an international incident."

"Ja, Reichsmarschall!" Heyser snapped to attention, saluted, to which Sinning returned, if there was one thing that was serious about Nazguul, it was it's discipline instilled within the Armed Forces.
Still, Sinning couldn't help but think that this was destined to fail....

Major Joseph Dietrich awoke to the vibration noises of his pager at around two thirty in the morning. Blinking his eyes, he checked the illuminated LCD. He had to check again, it was the confirmation code, the one word -ACHTUNG- that meant, in a literal sense, "Get Off Your Ass And Hit The Front!"
About now, Hauptmann Theodor Wisch, Hauptmann Wilhelm Mohnke, Oberleutnant Otto Kumm, Oberleutnant Heinz Krautze and Oberleutnant Rudolph Baum, who made up the 'GruppenPanzerTruppen' Zwei, Nazguul's most secret and deadly Threat Extermination Squad, ever. It was basically the equivalent to a CIA Death Squad.
About now, his counterparts were getting the same page, and getting ready to haul ass. It didn't matter really. Dietrich had drilled his men, through all conditions. He would get them drunk, and wake them up three hours after falling asleep, to get up and wade through minus fifteen degree water, still half drunk, and expected to silently infil onto a frigate, controlled by a variety of terrorists, by climbing. Then, they're still expected to hit every target, while getting shot at with less lethal ammunition.
His men were tough alright, but now, it was the real thing.

The Warehouse
Hammerstein Air Base
The Warehouse was where GruppenPanzerTruppen Zwei came to suit up. Thank god none of the crew were inebriated. It was afterall, they're first time out. All the men wore black BDU's, with black balaclava's. They wore ballistic vests with Low Frequency Low Voice comms headsets and were also equipped with a pair of nightvision goggles, which clips on the the comms heatsets, which makes communication direct at all times.
Dietrich, Wisch and Mohnke all carried Hk G-36C Commando Version assault rifles. They had Magnum Research Inc. Desert Eagles as they're sidearms. Kumm carried an Hk 21-E Machine Gun, without the tripod, mainly because he was a three hundred pound slab of twisted steel, who could take anything. He carried a Browning BDM as his sidearm. That was the thing with GruppePanzerTruppen, you didn't have to like it, you just had to do it. Krautze and Baum each carried M4 Carbines w/M203 Grenade Launchers with Beretta 92/M9's as their sidearms.
Fully suited up, they went for their breifing.

In a dark room in the Royal Palace, Ira Rothstein is surrounded by supervisors. Bronson Juhuk, Secretary of Defense speaks

"Sir, we should attack hard, and attack swiftly!"

Ira: "I suppose...What about negotions?"

Bronson: "Those never work! We need A strike-force! Pretend we are giving them their demands, then we shoot those suckers!

Ira: "I'm not sure...Jefferey?" Jefferey Malkin, the Intelligence Advisor, speaks

Jefferey: "Intelligence says there is an outside source preparing to attack. We are unsure of their intentions. Should we see what happens? Or shall we stop them, and doing things ourselves?"

Ira: "We shall wait for now..."

Albert Alberto of HNT comes back on the air

"This just in ladies and Gentlemen...It has been leaked to the press that an outside source is trying to handle this situation! We actually have a live news feed from the News 7 chopper, flying around the oil rig. Reporting is Becky Hobert. Becky?"
The shot goes to a woman inside a helicopter flying over the oil rig. Two other helicopters from other news station are flying around as well

Becky: "Thanks Albert! I am live over the oil rig! There has been no sign of anyone moving around so far- wait! Four ARMED masked men just walked out onto a walk way! They seem to be looking at us...Oh my gosh!"

The four armed terrorists unload whole clips of their AK-47s onto one of the other news helicopters. Becky is screaming in fear as the pilot panics to fly away. The camera man gets a shot of the helicopter being shot at. The victim helicopter's rear propeller gets blown off from the multiple bullets. The helicopter beings to spin uncontrollably, smoke flying from the helicopter as it descends rapidly. Becky is now shrieking as the cameraman catches the horrifying shot. The helicopter plunges straight down into the water, followed by an explosion. It was News Channel 5 Helicopter. So it goes. The picture goes back to a pale Albert Alberto.

"...Ugh...I--a...I uh, uh...."

The broadcast goes to a commercial so the news team can get their act together...

In The Sky
They're in the Starlifter. Dietrich can only see the outlines and basic facial features of his men due to the green lights and basic darkness in the plane. It was only T-Minus twenty minutes until jump time. He suggested that his men field strip they're gear and basically do a pre-jump check to make sure they didn't go SNAFU in the field. It was strange, because no one will know that it was them, as long as everything went smoothly.
Lost in thought, he almost didn't hear the Obergrenadier call out jumptime. It seemed it was time to do this. Dietrich checked his map, they were going to land in a small and possibly hot jumpzone, climb the ladder, do a SITREP and go on patrol. Eliminate any and all opposition of about a Platoon strength. It was six guys against forty freedom fighters. The odds were always stacked agaianst them.
They stacked to the platform. It was time to go. They jumped out, following suit, all freefalling for a nice five minutes. The sky was cold, but it was a nice wake up call. In about three minutes if they heard machine gun fire, they better hope that they don't get their butts capped.

Back to the Dark Planning room in the Royal Palace. Ira Rothstein begins to speak to his advisors,

Ira: "The outside force planning to take out these terrorists are still unknown to us, correct?" Jefferey Malkin, Intelligence offier nods then speaks

Jefferey: "Correct. They are still unknown to us. We will be sure to tell you when we get word on them."

Ira: "I..Andy, what do you think?" Ira looks at Andy Saks, his Chief Advisor. Andy speaks.

Andy: They might help us out...Let us wait.

Aido can send his 5th "Lords" Armoured division in to help. We will of course require billiting for this force and a substantial oil contract to assuay the cost. We have a police detachment at hand to search your major cities for instigators and revolters, and a battalion of special forces. Any information as to the origins of the terrorists will be acquired, and of course, we will assist you in the subsequent campaign against the nation in question.

The Landing
Cutting your ripchords from a HaLo jump didn't feel very good when you were looking down at blackness. Dietrich new that, and so did the rest of the dirty half dozen of 'em. They did it anyways, because this was what they trained for, was what they loved. They learned to keep their bodies straight and narrow and their asses puckered. Hitting that freezing cold water was like being pricked by a thousand needles.
Getting their bearings, and feeling that ice-cold water soaking them, they decided to get onboard before going hunting, the water was too cold, and the rig was too high to do any pre job reconnaisance. Climbing that ladder was gonna be fun....

Onboard, it seemed like the first floor was clear. They set up a small firebase in an old maintenance room, aftering clearing the entire floor for booby-traps or motion sensors. They checked the comms headsets, and radioed back into Ladybird..

"Gruppenfuhrer, this is Zier, we are onboard. This is secure, ja?"

"Ja, Zier. We think they may be on to you, and some unexpected force decided to show up, they could put a damper on your situation. What do you think?"

"Give us up. We need at least an hour. We need to clear this place floor by floor."

"Impossible, Zier. You know you can't be compromised."

"True, but if we don't get the package, they'll be killed when that idiotic force decides to raid the place."

"Do what you can for now, if the situation doesn't change, we're pulling you out of their. Gruppenfuhrer, out!"

It seemed like they were on their own for awhile. Looked like it was back to work. Dietrich sensed some bad ju-ju a brewin'. He could tell by the looks on the faces of the other guys that they knew there was something amiss too...

Going up to the third floor was almost like a suicidal feeling, Dietrich thought. He figured that maybe it was time to go, especially when HQ radioed in that there might be a whole hornet's nest of fun up there. It was his descision, and he decided that they should go ahead.
He signaled that they should break up into three teams of two.

They were all ready, Mohnke & Kumm would take the right, Krautze & Baum would take the left and Dietrich & Wisch would take the center, just like good ole' times.

This small but potent strike force will take up a perimeter guard position 10 miles around the oil rig, in case the terrorists attempt to escape. Have at least 4 Fulcrums on patrol at all times, and constantly sweep the area with radar and sonar. Be ready to move in at a moment's notice, per request by Hazak. The Hazak government will be given all of the above information. I will furthermore suggest to Hazak that they DO give the terrorists transportation... we can blow it out of the water within 5 minutes of getting the word."

Time To Move

Fourth floor. Dietrich could hear movement. It sounded like a bathroom break, as he could hear the hostages scuffling across the floor. He figured that they must only be guarded by one or two men. He radioed over to Baum and Krautze, who were also hunting, for a sitrep..

"All is quiet here, Major." is what came back over the comms. Dietrich ordered them to haul ass back to their position, and radioed Mohnke and Kumm for a status report. He told them they didn't have much time because it sounded like someone was planning to take military action. Dietrich and Wisch decided to take a little look around, for a way to surprise the tango's on their little galavants to the crappers. It worked. They found a smaller passageway that would lead up right behind them. They would take the guard by the doors, and then surprise the one comming out.
Dietrich ordered Wisch to move through the small passage way, which he did. Wisch was sweating a little when he made his move, using his combat knife, an Emerson CqC6 Folder, which he dug into said Tango's throat and covered the poor bastards mouth, wrenching the knife across, and letting him drop.
The other guy came out and turned right into Dietrich, who he foolishly mistook for a hostage. Dietrich twisted his neck right around, just like in the movies, the crack wasn't so loud, thank god.
Baum showed up and shrugged. Dietrich ordered him to stay with the hostages, in the bathroom. They must have gotten at least a third of the crew, because there was about fifteen men and women total. Baum suggested that they exfil them outside, and radio for support but Dietrich said no way, that would be bad juju. He decided he'd wait for Mohnke and Kumm, and then decide what the hell they would do....

We have sent an anti terrorist squad of 100 men to assist your plight.They are highly trained and will be the best option should force be needed

A message was transmitted to all forces involved in the conflict.

"These Terrorist are former KOF Citizens and they are believed to have stolen military blueprints from our shipyard, we will consider any attempts to keep these men from us as an act of espionage, we will not interfere as long as these men and all theire belongings are handed over to us when this is over".

After the immense support received, much to the delight of Ira Rothstein, the President of Hazak sends a very grateful telegram to Pacific Northwesteria thanking them for their generous donations, and that they will put the money to good use.

In the planning room, the Advisors are discussing what to do.

Ira Rothstein: Jefferey, what do you think?

Jefferey: Well Mr. President, I think we should give the terro- He is interuppted by Andy Saks, Seceretary of Defense interrupts,

Andy: Let us send in a full Counter-Terrorist team and TAKE THEM OUT!

Jefferey: No, that will most definetely not work...But I have devised a plan. Get a news crew out there A.S.A.P....

Three Apache Helicopters with Three professional pilots land on top of the oilrig. Thirty-Six armed and masked terrorists take the stairs to the roof. They split up evenly and jump into the three different Apache Helicopters. They find a large briefcase in each of the Helicopters, Each containing $10 million...$30 million dollars in total. The three Apache Helicopters pull up, and begin to fly away. The HNT news crew is on site, broadcasting this live from above the oil rig. The three Apache helicopters fly out of site. The news feed is cut. The headlines read "Armed Terrorists Escape Oil Rig Successfully!". Just seconds after the news feed is cut, back to the planning room...

Jeffery: Mr. President. All you need is to push this button. Jefferey hands Ira Rothstein a large metal remote control with a large red button.
Whenever you are ready Mr. President.

Ira Rothstein pushes the button. The three Apache Helicopters explode simuntaneously. So it goes. The news crew attempts to turn their cameras back on because they see the explosion from a distance. Their helicopter blows up to. So it goes. Another conspiracy successfuly completed. Another million people believe the terrorists live happily ever after. The terrorists think they win. Bring it on.

President Glen Wittrock walked down the hallway towards the modelized oval office, as the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense.

The Secretary of State was the first to speak out, "Mister President. The Hazaki have been hit by act of terrorism."

Glen stopped, looking over to the Secretary of State, "What is it?"

"The Hazaki Head of State, has sent us a telegram in return."

As the Secretary walks up, handing the President the telegram piece, reading over it, "Send word back to him, that we'll have our Security Organizations, research into this. Tell him, we request to have a small Military presence in major cities. We might as well help out people in need, thats what our people did before we became a Republic."

"Yes sir."

Congratulations on the succesful conclusion of this most disdainful incident. We would like to congratulate you and your staff for thier stalwarth courage during these dark times. Our own operations in the area were highly succesful and we are presently remanding a significant militant group in the immediate area to the Armed Republic, where they can be interrogated and their origins and intentions revealed. They are not, as far as we can deduce, members of the elite Knights of Falmir formation and their connection with the group is as yet unknown. Further interrogation however should weild satisfactory answers. To the other formations present we extend our congratulations for their success and bravery.
We will soon be sending a small diplomatic corp to the Hazaki capital, to discuss a possible oil treaty which will be favourable to both our nations.
We will unfortuantly be unable to return the detainees until they have been put through the full legal process of Aido's court system. You will appreciate us taking the strain of your own legal system, as ours is better suited to insurgents.

Secretary of State walked up to the President as he finished a conservation with the Solictor General and the Director of Department of Homeland Security, "President we got word from the Hazaki. They want us to supply them with defensive equipment and not entire their country with light military personnel."

Nodding his head as the two men were dismissed, "I'll have our Intell Groups work behind to see if there is any more terrorist attacks on the nation of Hazak. We want to improve our friendship, sign an alliance of some sort. We need allies."

"Yes sir. What about inside Canadan Borders?"

President Wittrock gave the Secretary a look, "I'll get the Intell to do what ever they can. I want a full report of what nations are taking matter of this conservation. I think we should sign an axis against terror. We need to protect ourselves."
