People of the World,
I, General Ernisto Perez can announce that around 3 hours ago I led a rebel force in a successful revolution against the regime of Presidente Babooska. After his capture the president was swiftly executed. He was an unstable and unreliable leader, who brought our island to the brink of nuclear war, and invasion.

It is my aim to lead Cayo Island and her dependancies back on a socialist path, not the path of imperialism and corruption that was becoming rife under the Babooska regime. It is my intention to promote peace in our region, rather than terrorise the world. I want to make Cayans proud to be socialist once more!

I offer a hand of peace to the international community, and I hope that the nation of Cayo, whose name has been soured in recent times, will once again become a welcome and trusted member of the community of nations.

Viva la Republica Socialista,

General Perez

(I have also attached a poll for all national leaders to participate, just to get an idea of world oppinion)

As ambassador to your beloved nation, General Perez, we would like to say thank you for doing what you did. Our nation has temporarily recognized you as the head of the nation. We will formally Recognize you as you prove yourself. We have a good feeling that full recognition will come very soon. The Ambassador sent my the deceased dictator has been kicked out of the country and we will welcome one appointed by you. My Government has decided to keep me here. I hope that our two nations can form greater ties economically. Our beloved President, in case you didn't here is comments, has invited you to an official Visit to Corneliu. He wants to establish closer ties with Cayo. He believes that together, we can both prosper economically. Once again, congratulations on your new post, General Perez.

Congradulations on your victory, General. We hope under your leadership, Cayo will become a great country.

Be forewarned though, be careful of your decisions on Samos Island. If any threat to their independance is made, we will defend them with all we have. Do not underestimate the strength of my nation's military, we are a miliaristic country, our people live, eat, breath, and sleep military.

Premier of Redhawks,
I have already stated that I am willing to recognise the sovereignty of Samos Island and re-establish a diplomatic relationship with that nation. This is not Babooska you are dealing with now.

I am sure your military is a force to be reckoned with, and I respect your defence of Samos. However as a general I do not appreciate threats when I have only been in office for a short time. I also do not take kindly to small nations such as yourself presuming to tell me what I should do.

If I take care in my approach of the Samos situation it is not through fear of you or any other nation my friend. No, it through a socialist sense of duty to preserve peace.

Regards,
General Perez
