The final nuclear power plant being constructed in the Constatine series has been completed. When this new power grid is turned on it will power the entire country from 82 nuclear reactors. The project has taken over 25 years (RT days) and cost over a trillion dollars to complete but when it begins coal imports will be down 80% and oil down 26%. This will over 2 years repay for the cost of developing the reactors and power grid. After this the saved money will be moved into tax breaks for the poor and military areas as well as in the much needed Private Industry Sector.
Emperor Constatine is "pleased" that the project has been finished nearly 6 months ahead of shedule and will be at the opening of the last reactor and will himself turn the system on. This grid provides all the power the home islands will need for years to come, and as such the power pants are protected heavily. Details are not availiable as to the protection of these plants but there is wire fencing and security cameras on the outer perimeter from where I am speaking to you.
The territories of Prada and Guchi are expected to have similar programs underway in the months to come.
