Chancellory Establishes New Space Program Via New Technology
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to conquests from the last siege upon the Johnified America union, the nation of Chancellory has been able to announce the development of products based on certain captured technologies, and the integration of such into a newly founded orbital space program.

Called JCES (Joint Chancellorian-Ericyan Spaceflight), this program has already, in secret, achieved several low and high orbit flights, including the launch of several communication satellites within the last seven months. Manned flights, though rare, have taken place, but have been kept in secret as not to destabalize the region with such new potence.

The new spaceflight engines, integrated on all CRA-Z Launch Shuttles, reusable but expensive troop and equipment transports, are based upon those siezed by Chancellory at the end of the Johnistan-Johnified war. Called Ion propulsion engines (IPE), they utilize a plasma ionization process as to superheat liquid uranium, the products of such converted into high powered light which is flared in pulses called "burns". The craft are able to reach sublight speeds of roughly 2.5x10^4 kmh, but conventional launch shuttles are not regulated for such speeds, leaving questions as to the existence of faster and far more advanced craft.

More disturbing is the integration of high-powered LASER technology into their spacecraft for defensive purposes. Harvested from the battlefields of the last war, these weapons are powered by a new cold-fusion reactor complex, and as such, have an unexaustable supply of energy. Though not feasible at the infantry level, such weaponry is potent enough and accurate enough to target nations from space. As of yet, there are no public plans to establish such defense complexes.
