The Corneliuan armed forces have stormed the beaches of Texas near the City of Houston and of Galveston and Freeport. The fighting is said to be fierce but General Sherman is confident that Houston will be taken.

Also on the war front. Elements of the 3rd ID has bypassed Houston and has taken land from the county of Brazoria to Colorado County and the city of Columbus Texas has fallen to our forces. Fighting is still tough along the coast from Texas City to Chambers County Texas.

Texas forces are still holding on to portions of Harris, Liberty, Chambers and Jefferson Counties.

There is more to come on this as the war progresses

Colonel Johnson: "Men, we are about to launch our final attack and take the City of Galveston. Their forces are weak and we have to take them."

As he spoke, the first Carrier wing bombs the city.

"Ok men lets take the city."

As soon as he said that, the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force enters the city. Elements of the 1st armored Brigage also storm the city. In a fierce fight, the outskirts are taken but the fight continues into the city.

Near Houston, General Smits secures the outskirts and moves forces towards Downtown.

General Jones launches his attack onto the city of LIberty in Liberty County, taking it and securing the county for Corneliu.

Causalties: 1549 dead, 3589 wounded.

General Monty of Texas was charged with the defense of Galveston. Under the heavy bombardment, he has dug his forces near the city center.

"Men, our duty is to make sure Galveston doesn't fall. We must do everything in our power to prevent it."

As he spoke an artillery shell hits the positition 300 yds from his location. His men scramble into firing position and begin to assualt the Corneliuan Military Force.

As the fighting progressed, the Texas Military forces where being bloodied as were the Corneliuan military forces. All of a sudden, Texas Military broke through the lines and drove Corneliu from the outer ring of the city but not from the outskirts.

Meanwhile, Houston wasn't having luck in defeating them. Corneliu broke through the lines and stormed down town in fierce fighting. In a matter of hours, Houston, as well as Harris County, were taken by Corneliuan Military forces.

Causalties: 576 dead, 1489 wounded

Colonel Johnson wasn't happy that his assault on Galveston failed. He regrouped his military forces and, coupled with the 1st Armored Brigade, launched a second assualt on the city.

This time, they did not fail. General Monty was trying to organize a massive counterattack again but couldn't quite accomplish the undertaking.

"Come you smuks, we have to make sure they don't take downtown Galveston. They already have taken parts of the city including the sea coast. WE MUST PUSH THEM BACK!!!!"

His words where lost however when Three missiles blew up near the campsite. Shortly there after, a fourth missile broke through the defensive ring and blew up killing General Monty. Three hours later, Galveston County was taken by Corneliu Marines and Army.

Causalties: 275 dead, 548 wounded

With the areas they want under control, The Corneliu moves from one securing the land to pacifing the land.

The counter-attack by rebel forces have started to take its toll but the forces of Corneliu are slowly gaining the upper hand. How long is this going to last, no one knows for sure.

"The war in portions of Texas are over. The pacification process has begun and according to General Smits, the person in charge of all of this, it shouldn't be too long now before the President himself can come and tour the locations of the pacified parts.

Lets run down what counties have taken over!

FORT BEND

According to President Featherston, these are the only counties that are needed. 'We don't want all of Texas, just portions of it and we have taken the portions we wanted. We do not want to put a burden on our glorious forces in taking it all. May God go with you all.'

That was what President Featherston said just shortly after the first bombs were dropped. with the areas secured and pacification process beginning, it'll only be a matter of time before the whole fight is over.

General Rogers knew that the President wanted a couple of more counties than the ones that have already been taken. The president told him what 3 counties to take. When the go word was given in his speech, he launched his assault into the counties of Colorado Wharton and Matagorda. These counties will in effect secure the western boundry just as Montgomery county in the north will seal off that border.

Causalties: 1643 dead, 3547 wounded

General Rogers, at the appointed hour, blitzed and destroyed the resistance in Colorado county. in a Five our firefight across the county, stormed and took the county seat of Columbus.

In the County of Wharton, a massive fight has now officially broken out at the town of East Bernard and at Boling and in the county of Matgorda, a massive firefight, now 3 hours in length, has broken out at the town Sweeny and another fight at the town of Matgorda and Wadsworth enroute to the county seat of Bay City.

In Monthgomery County, the Army has broken through the resistance and has stormed the county seat of Conroe. The firefight is continueing in the Town of Conroe but Colonel Davidson said that Conroe will fall by nightfall thus insuring that Montgomery County will be ours.

Causalties: 741 dead, 1474 wounded

News on the war:

In Montgomry County, Colonel Davidson smashed the forces in Conroe and have taken the city. He also said that the person in charge for the defense of Montgomry county has also been captured and has surrendered the whole county to Corneliu.

In Wharton County, the Army has broken through at East Bernard and Boling and has driven all the way to the County Seat of Wharton, where the last ditch effort of defense has taken place. Colonel Jefferson says it won't be long now till all of Wharton County will fall to our forces.

In Matagorda County, the town of Matagorda fell to Corneliu. This marks the end of the fighting along the coast. Admiral Jones reports that all beaches and the towns on the beaces and the isles that belong to the counties under our control are totally secured and pacified. Also in Matagorda County, the fight around Sweeny has ended with a Corneliu victory and our forces press on to Bay City.

Causalties: 565 dead, 1054 Wounded

This is another War Alert!

Corneliu has taken all counties they have attacked.

In Wharton County, Colonel Jefferson has taken the County seat and has pacified the region.

Meanwhile in Matagorda County, the fight around Bay City has come to an end and Corneliu has declared victory.

WIth this, all counties attacked by our forces have been taken and pacified.

According to General Marshal, forces are preparing to move on to other counties if it is needed for our forces to do so to keep our glorious nation free.

Causalties: 364 dead, 634 wounded

General Marshal was lounging in his office when a knock on the door interrupted him.

"Enter!" he said.

Moments later, a private entered the office with a letter in his hand.

You are to move onto Austin Texas then into Oklahoma.

"Private! Issue the recall orders and prepare to move. Notify the 2nd Armor brigade to begin its trek towards Austin."

"Right away sir."

Five minutes later, The gun boomed and the first shots for the conquoration of Texas is underway.

The guns that fired, fired into Washington County. The 2nd Armored Brigade has crossed into the border and encountered stiff resistance.

After a major firefight at the border, they punch their way through and make their way up I 45!

2nd Army moves from their bases and makes their way along I-35 heading up to San Antonio.

Other various forces begin to move along county and state roads as they head towards their intended targets.

Orders where now issued to 1st Army to head up and to take Austin Texas. From their, some of them will be airlifted to another unidentified target.
