Formation of The Joint Operations Team (Start of RP)
OOC: If you want to be part of T-JOT you must read the following carefully and post which men you are sending.
I am extremely interested in the SAS and because I know a lot about them and there tactics T-JOT will be based around them.
T-JOT is dedicated to Staff Seargant Eddie Stone a man who has taught me a lot about the SAS.
IC: T-JOT will be a multi-national rapid response unit. It will be able to leave to any country with 30 minutes notice. The following is who it will be set up:
T-JOT The whole group of 400 highy trained soldiers. Based in Kazaakisthan but able to set up a base anywhere in the world to get them clsoer to the action.
Sabre Squadron There are four Sabre Squadrons, each containing one hundred men. The sqaudrons are A, B, C and D.
Boat Troop, Mountain Troop, Air Troap and Mobility Troop Each SS is split up into these four troops:
Boat troop are in charge of sea infils and will be the main means of inserting men into areas.
Air troop, for swift and silent infil mainly for recce before an attack.
Mountain troop will be trained with the worlds expert climbers and will be able to get men and equipment up and down mountains and cliffs. For infil and exfil.
Mobility troop, drivers and pilots. Mechanics and drivers able to use any kind of vehicle and fix it in the heat of the desert or the cold of the arctic.
Although we have the diffferent troops, each soldier is trained in the use of each one. A member of boat troop will be an excellent parachutist. But a member of air troop will be an outstanding parachutist.
At the head of decisions for T-JOT is the WDW* or White Danger Warehouse. These are the people who choose whether or not T-JOT goes into action. There will be a member from each country in the WDW.
OOC *: WDW's also stands for the SAS motto, Who Dares Wins. The motto that the actual SAS men use is "Who cares who wins?"
Exetonia is very interested in this force and will be sending EEG staff sergeant William T scott, EEG sergeants Graham Mathers, William Hunt and Jackie johns. Also, EEG color sgt Walter P Kethlane will be joining. They are already spec ops trained much in the way as the rl sas are however, could benefit from the full training. They are all dedicated men looking for a new target to reach. We believe this may be what they are looking for. Yours, Exetonian Millitary.
Liberated America

The Liberate Government is willing to contribute to your rapid response team with a single man. And enlisted war hero whom faught on Salvan and single handedly infiltrated a Rebel stronghold, and exfiltrated with several key documents, which untimately led to a Liberate victory with minimal loss of life. This man is Captain Lee Rosnka. He is trained in all the ways of the Liberate Military, including espionage, anti-terrorism, criminal psychology, assault tactics, and basic aviation. We feel he will make his mark on your organization.
LA, if everyone goes at your rate we will need 394 more nations.

"who dares wins"
Little Old Brittaina
Sounds good. As all men are already SF trained in my regiment and have seen combat I would be willing to commit troops to the Unit. Though as it is a multi-national force who will it be lead by and will an idervidual nation have command over its troops while they're serving in the regiment?
General Bill Clark VC, DCM, MM
22nd Law Air Assault Brigade
OOC: I take it you watched SAS Survival Secrets
We'd like to send 35 men to the Air Troop and 20 to the Sea troop.

Five Civilized Nations

El CID, we are going to undergo special operations missions...
Anyways, 5CN will send five squads of its JadeOps Special Operations personnel, a total of fifty men.
Exetonia requests that 5CN be denied access to this as they harbour terroists. This can be seen here http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111766
as their refusal to fill out or pass laong the forms seems suspicious.
Exetonia, it is not in my interest to dismiss anyone from sending men. This must be discussed by the groups taking part and voted on. As if I decided I could get this wrong meaning some very good men didn't enter the force. If I did have control I would let him join as I beleive that was uncalled for an irrational.
Pwnica, the men decide which troop they want to be in as part of there training. They do basic training, then they do training in each one of the troops and then they decide which troop they want to do advanced training with.
Law2k, as I said WDW are in control of the regiment. WDW is made of one man from each nations.
Kazakhstania

Kazakhstania is a great ally of Kazaakisthan. Therefore,we wish to send a large contingent of Airborne Troops to undergo training. We will also send a few Boat Troops, and thats about it.
Can you please tell us when our troops should be entered and undergo training?
As soon as we receive them they will start training and then they wil choose which specialisation they want to go in.

bTW each sabre aquadron is not a 100 men, but there are always 16 men in ach squadron/troop also remember though that operatives frequently switch specialities so most expereinced men can perform all roles.
Our Special Reconassance Service training program is based on that of the SAS, although we divide into two very different categories, anti-terrorism/urban warfare and covert operations.

Can you really afford to offer so many teams leaders. So much direction can only cause issues and problems, a loyal unit would be a much better tool in carrying out high level operations.
Kazakhstania
06-01-2004, 18:30
They aren't all team leaders.
It's great to present all team leaders, even if there is more than one in a team.
I also have a proposal. Can I supply all arms and vehicles to the team?
Huzen Hagen
06-01-2004, 18:31
The republic of Huzen Hagen has noticed that there are a fair few nations that wish to join this force. I would like to bring your atention to the ancient Huzen proverb 'any war waged by commitee is a war aready lost'. We must limit the nations in the WDW but allow other nations to participate in a wider council.

I also have a proposal. Can I supply all arms and vehicles to the team?
I have no problem with that proposal, but in fairness of usage of such weoponary by non Kazakhstani force members may I suggest a certain trade in fairness to your production?
Kazakhstania
06-01-2004, 18:37
I remidn you it would be for free. We would supply high qulity Kazakhstanian Military Gear for free, for this force.

I can do mountains.
All I am is mountains.
Huzen Hagen
06-01-2004, 19:30
my nation has thick rainforests in some areas so it would be a suitable spot for jungle survival training and we also allow the use of our blackhawk's for helo insertion training. Huzen Hagen also is in the process of hunting and eliminating terrorist factions inside its borders, this could be good practise for the troops.
Kazakhstania
06-01-2004, 19:44
Ok.
We have all sorts, from better than Blackhawk Helo's to kick ass Machine Guns.
The Atheists Reality

My nation's speciality is the CQB (Close Quarter Battle) so may we provide training facilities for this. We would cater for Vip- Protection, Urban Warfare and hostage rescue.
