Should Biological weapons be illiegal I know that they were intended as anti personal weapons however Terrorists use them alot. Imagine what a ton of VX could do to a city?.

umm they are illegal (in the UN anyways). Second they aren't anti-personel weapons they are anti army weapons spreading from person to person over a period of days or weeks. Third VX a chemical weapon, a nerve agent that shuts down the nervous system. But since VX is a gas you will have to carpet a city with it to get the population.

I think so. But making it Illegal doesn't do much. You can't get arrested because who wants to try and handcuff the psycho with the nuclear bomb.
It's quasi legitimate as an act of war. If you are planning on starting a war, (fictional nation states war) I'd suggest using your other weapons first.

In reality they are evil weapons with no accuracy, that kill innocent people. What good is bravery against chem warfare?

And just who is going to make them illegal? Furthermore, who is going to enforce it? It cannot be done. If the armed forces of the Eternal Dominion of Wretchengard decide that it is in our best interests to emply bio weapons in warfare, we will.

Biological Weapons should be used if they are a reasonable and legitimate alternative. however in most cases these weapons cannot be properly controlled and thus would not be used by any INTELLIGENT nation. Nations to ignorant to know how to properly utilize these weapons should probably not be capable of producing them to begin with.

The use of bio weapons during a conflict would be considered a use of WMD which means the enemy then gets to nuke you with too much in the way international backlash...

Bio-Weapons Research if legitimate and conducted by a safe nation, should be allowed however anytype of Bio-Weapon manufacture and deployment for defence or offence should be barred, and the offending nation should suffer sever sanctions and international action in turn.

Meh...yeah, biological weapons, while cost-effective, are most definitely inhumane...I won't be using 'em, anytime soon.

If a nation is willing to research this form of WMD, then clearly they are prepared to use it. That is worrying.

They are definately not anti-army weapons. They spread indiscrimanently, mosly among the civilian population, which is mainly why they are so terrifying. They are random. You open pandora's box. Make one properly, and you could infect the entire world! what I'm trying to say is that they can't be controlled.

By making bio weapons illegal, you are making it more diffucult for terrorists to come across them. You do have a point however, Rotovia.

I support the use of Biological Weapons, against terrorists and countries that harbor terrorists.

Terrorists have no regard for human life so why should we have any regad for their lives.

We of Xeraph and the nation of ARM support the stockpiling of Bio/Chem agents for use ONLY as a last resort, in defense of our sovreign territories.
We are well aware of the "proper" use of these weapons: atmospheric conditions, wind-drift, and targeting of aggressive leadership are a few of the guidelines for use.
We are actually of the opinion that the people of a nation who indiscriminately deploy these weapons should be given aid to overthrow their govt before the weapons can be used, IF they are against their use. If they support the indiscriminate use of these agents, then we feel that THEY should be wiped out along with their leadership. If you remove the threat of future generations adhering to the same policy of indiscriminate use, then no one will have to have history repeating itself, i.e., going to war every 20 years or so. The problem will have already been dealt with.

Just airburst it. That stuff is highly deadly. It doesn't take much to kill a lot of people especially in a crowded area.

No. They are viable forms of use. Whether you want to use them or now is up to you and it better be a long thought out decision because a virus or bacteria can mutate and come back to bite you in the ass so.
