At a quarter to five in the afternoon along the eastern block, seven German patrollmen were viciously attacked by Russians. The Russians opened fire on the Germans with the new Ak-47 machine gun. Two German officers were killed while another two were injured. After a short but deadly three minute battle, the group of Russians were shot down by snipers in the towers overhead. Wolfgang Blitzer, cheif executive of security on the Eastern Block had this to say about the attack..
"It is a horrible thing, you know. It is amazing to me that although with nothing, those communist bastards still think they own the world. They look at us like we are the bad guys. But no doubt, my board will look into this matter and if we do have a case of a rebellion or a coup of any sort, it will be dealt with severly."
