The United States of Witticism has observed buildup of the armed forces of The Colony of Mad Pirate Emu along its borders. After having confirmed the origin of these forces through satellite surveillance and covert ground operations, The United States of Witticism issued an ultimatum to the Colony for them to remove their forces or be held as hostile.

The Colony of Mad Pirate Emu failed to comply. War is imminent, unless this rogue nation decides to cooperate. As a display of our resolve, the people of Witticism have called in a unified voice for the deployment of our superior military. We will not be deterred.

The oppressive nation claims to be socialist, but appears to be a corrupt communist regime from what our political analysts can tell.

Mad Pirate Emu, cooperate or face the consequences.
