ARYM Fleet Brief -
At 0400 Hours on the 5th of January the YMS Treach intercepted an unflagged merchantman in open waters and ordered it to heave to. The merchantman's crew opened fire on the Treach with small arms. The Treach laid suppressive fire with her 20mm CIWS system and launched boarding parties. Four of the ship's eight man crew were killed (3 by CIWS, 1 by the boarding party) the remaining crew including the captain were taken prisoner. The Treach suffered no casualties and minor damage in the firefight.
The ship was found to be carrying, concealed in its hold, a large number of small arms and a surface-to-surface rocket launcher with 12 rockets. The crew has been interrogated but refuses to disclose their names or their contry of origin.
The ship and cargo have been confiscated by the ARYM government.

Any unflagged shipping refusing to heave to upon command will be warned and boarded by ARYM ships. Any ship which resists boarding will be sunk as a pirate vessel and its crew will be summarily executed by hanging.
