The Most Serene Republic again tenders its offer to buy the entire means and services of production of the United Socialist States of Yatonsa for the full $3 billion it is worth per year. Perhaps with these funds and the MSR's industrial production you might be able to buy the R&D for the engine for one of these aircraft. Or at least the fan ducting.

here is the history behind them;

the 787 Is from a time when esryia was all for a supersonic aircraft fleet to connect indonesia. the 787, A modified B-58 Constructed by Boeing was the final choice in 1996. in 1998, the aircraft entered service from Aries, Esryian Java to Sydney, Esryian Austrailia. they where proved useless for island hopping by the costs for maintaining them and the total profit at the end of 1999. 6 of the 14 where sold to the goverment for 500 million dollars in 2000, who used them as diplomatic transports. Recently the goverment aquired the other 8, IndoLink having retired them from the low-profit Aries-Moscow route. they will sell for 100 million per plane. they can travel almost mach 2, and seat 195 passengers. 7 of he 8 the goverment owns are for sale.

Considering that only yesterday (RT) your nation was begging for obsolete aircraft and WWII era guns, I don't think it's appropriate for you to be developing SST.

More importantly, your current airline is made up -in a fairly significant part- of salvaged wrecks that are only barely airworthy at best, so I don't think you're in a position to be trying to develop the next Concorde.

Wait a few NS years and make a few trade deals first...

You see, we'd equip your military, train them to reservist status (ie "This is a gun. The bullets go in this end, you point this end at the bad guys, and pull this little trigger thing here...") and help with "technical matters."

Of course, that's not going to stop someone invading you, so we'd station some of our own Imperial Guard in your country. In short, you'd have our Army protecting your country, but they won't get involved in attacking anyone (only defence issues), and at the end of the day you'd have to be very nice to us...

BTW, we've despatched a C-47 full of food and medical supplies to help all the homeless, sick, and suffering in your country...

Unfortunately, your nation is not economically strong enough to support Nuclear Weapons (read the various stickies for further information.)

Rest assured that at this stage you are unlikely to need WMDs, and with the Imperial Guard defending your capital city you shouldn't need to worry too much about defence.

Now, if you were to focus your finances into social welfare, the extra money you've saved by not having an army should boost your economy.

How do you raise your economy?. But if I were to be giving these weapons would I be able to sustain them even in this economic condition?.

You wouldn't be maintaining them- I would.

The thing with a Protectorate is that I would effectively supply your entire military and buy all your surplus goods (for a price that suits us).

You would, however, have to bear in mind that we would effectively control your entire military- but considering how wrecked your economy is that might not be a bad thing.

You would still have a Reserve Force of troops (trained, armed, and supoprted by us), which you could use as you see fit, but the Imperial Guard (Our Troops deployed to your cities) would not be available for you to attack people with.

Should someone attack you, however (or if there are terrorist incidents, riots, natural disasters etc) then you would have a large force of well trained soldiers to help out- it would be of enormous RP potential.

The downside is that a foreign country would run your military and have a lot of influence in your nation (and I tell you this in the interests of fairness and helping you understand Roleplaying here on NS).

Don't worry, I'm not going to take over your country, but we in Roycelandia are a very generous people who would like to aid a developing nation. And it will help you to have a powerful Ally who will smite your enemies and generally lend an economic hand...
