Today IndoLink, Indonesia's main airline announced it would fly flights as far south as the south shore of Austrailia an as far north as Alaska. originally when formed in the 1930s, IndoLink flew a fleet of flying boats between Sumatra and Austrailia. in 1950s, they stopped using the 20-year-old flying boats and went with a Sumtra-Austrailia Main corridor using landplanes, and a short-range system serving australia's biggest citys. IndoLink has been expanding it's collectio of routes since the 1970s, when it intoduced it's best service, the "Crown Line" in 1978 between Sydney and Aries. though shorter than the Econo-Line Between Sumatra and Sydney, it was much more luxorious and expensive, and flew with the 747-400, A rare sight in indonesia even in the mid-1990s. in 1984, the Crown Line was extened north into veitnam. today, it was extened north to Achorage, Alaska from Aries, Java Esryia, using long-haul 767 jets.
