The grand army of Bazookaville would like to enter our newest tank into you trial.
Rottweiller is the new generation main battle tank in service with the Bazookaville heavy cavalry force. Developed from the Grand nog MBT, which proved so successful during the chickboy war, it is fitted with a completely new turret and is protected by Advanced Armour Technology. Proven to be the world's most reliable main battle tank, the Rottweiller has exceeded the most stringent reliability targets ever set by the bazookaville Ministry of Defence.
Fightability
To make full use of its formidable and accurate firepower, the Rottweiller is designed to optimise the crew's operational environment. Rottweillers interior minimises levels of noise and vibration at crew stations, fresh filtered air maintains a workable environment, and the layout and operation of systems and controls maximises the crew's ability to achieve first round hits under all conditions. The totally integrated fire control system provides both commander and gunner with an independently gyrostabilised, optical/thermal sight equipped with a laser rangefinder. The gunner's sight has limited traverse, whilst the commander's is fully panoramic. Rottweiller incorporates second generation TOGS thermal imaging. Its fire control system enables it to consistently engage and destroy eight targets in 30 seconds using its new high pressure 150mm R40 gun.
Mobility and survivability
Rottweiller is powered by the 1500bhp Perkins vulture turbocharged diesel engine, mated to the TN54 gearbox with six forward and two reverse gears. Its second-generation hydrogas suspension provides the gun with a stable platform, enhancing firing accuracy whilst on the move, and reducing crew fatigue.
Stealth is designed into the construction to reduce the probability of detection on the battlefield by visual, electronic and thermal means. All explosive material is stowed below the turret ring in armoured charge bins and a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) filtration system provides collective protection against ingress and maintains a positive vehicle internal pressure.
The hull and turret have been designed to minimise millimetric radar returns, to avoid detection and lock-on by guided missiles. The infra-red signature is reduced to avoid detection by thermal imaging systems. All explosives are stowed below the turret ring. Fifty main armament rounds can be carried there.
The Advanced Armour Technology resisted penetration during prolonged trials with a wide range of modern anti-tank ordnance. The use of electric gun and turret drives also avoids the dangers associated with high-pressure hydraulics in the fighting compartment.
Rottweiller has been subjected to a more rigorous reliability development programme than any other tank in the world. Its in-service reliability demonstration for the Bazookaville Ministry of Defence showed conclusively that the tank significantly surpassed the demanding contractually-specified reliability requirements.
Its unique second-generation, rubber-bushed, double-pin track minimises noise and vibration. Hydraulic track tension adjustment is achieved from the driver's compartment.

LASER TARGETING SYSTEM: Range: 15miles
OPTICS: INFRARED/NIGHTVISION: Range: 2000 feet (610m). Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner's sight together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder
GPS SYSTEM: The Tank is fitted with a GPS Navigation system for navigation and location mapping.
RADIO COMMUNICATION: Long range, directional communications system with satellite relay capabilities. Range: 60 miles (96 km) or can be boosted indefinitely via satellite relay.
NBC LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM: The Tank is sealed against Nuclear, Biological and Chemical attacks and able to sustain crew and passengers and remain fully operational for up to 48 hours.
CAMOUFLAGE WEBBING: Carried on the exterior of the Tank is camouflage webbing sufficient to cover the entire vehicle.
