I'm kind of interested to know if any nations have thought of any impressive things for their countries in RP.

Things like big mountains, ancient ruins, or a giant steel tower in the middle of the ocean. Just things like that.

I think I might wait to post mine. It's a biggie...

Yes the crater always has fire in it sometimes up to the rims of the crater and other times farther down. Still no idea how it manages to always burn. Why paradrop when you can just blow holes in the wall and charge through while bombers bomb the enemy.

The Imperial Facade in our capital city of Parkland is quite impressive. It contains the Imperial Palace (Palais d'Imperiales), the House of Parliament (Grande Halles des Parliament), which happens to have the largest square footage of any building within the Empire, and the Military Castle (l'Opera Militaire). The ruins of Megolanium are also amazing, as it was once one of the Empires largest cities, until about 20 D.P. (8 years ago according to the Imperial calendar.), when it was destroyed by a flood caused by a hydrogen bomb striking the nearby Lamais river, causing a tragic tidal wave to engulf the sorrounding region. Megolanium was the capital of the province of Mullin, with 90% of the population living in Megolanium and Jolae ( a nearby city that was also destroyed.)

in SLarina the lake Marxon is 300 ft deep. There is a tower that goes from the bottom of the lake to 1500 ft above the surface of it. It is the Marxon Tower, and was named after the founder of the country, Christopher Marxon. The tower is moslty just a tourism sight, but no one is allowed inside because it is considered sacred, being the tomb of Marxon himself.

4 Islands shaped like arrows, that by royal decree have been uninhabited for 1,000 years since the last of the ancient civilization died out. However, the islands are shrouded in mystery and little is known of the Divine Druidic Religion Islands (or DDR Isles for short...) recently it has turned into a Bermuda Triangle area, where Crippleslovenian invaders suddenly dissappeared after landing on DDR East...

Not a big impressive wonder, just a mystery of ancient Hence civilization...

The most notable structure in Ravea would have to be the WatchGaurd of Ravea. A massive City-Tower that could be used (And is sometimes still used) as a fortress in times of crisis. Now, it is still used as a city. Miles wide and thousands of feet tall, it is the largest and tallest structure in Ravea. Anyone standing on the peak of the tower has a unobstructed view of almost the entire country, as well as Oripher, Ravea's Capital. It is Truly Ravea's Architectural contrabution to the world.

We have three wonders of the world. All situated in our Capital.

The Arch of Triumph

The Arch is constructed of granite and has a capacity of two million, three hundred and sixty five thousand, six hundred and eighty five cubic metres. The Arc de Triumph in Paris will fit into it forty-nine times. Under the Arch is an immense stone-ribbed tunnel, longer than a football pitcher and higher than a fifteen-storey building with the vaulted shadowed roof of a cathedral. The Arch has a height of 118 metres. It is 168 metres wide and has a depth of 119 metres. On the inner walls are carved the names of the men who fell in defence of King and Empire during the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

The Avenue of Victory

Leaving the Arch you enter a central section of the Avenue of Victory. It is 123 metres wide and five point six kilometres in length. It is both wider and two and a half times longer than the Champs Elysees in Paris. The view from this point northward along the Avenue of Victory is considered one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Hall (Dome)

The Great Hall of the Empire is the largest building in the world. It rises to a height of more than a quarter of a kilometre, and on certain days (during bad weather) the top of the dome is lost from view. The Dome itself in 140 metres in diameter and Saint Peters in Rome will fit into it sixteen times. When you get to the top of the Avenue of Victory you enter the Owain Glyndr Platz. To the left the square is bounded by the headquarters of the MOD, to the right by the Parliament building is the emperor’s palace. The pillars supporting the frontage are of red granite, mined in Sweden flanked at either end by golden statues of Atlas and Tellus bearing on their shoulders the heavens and the earth. The Dome itself is only used for Commonwealth and Empire meetings.

We feel that the numbers mine near the city of Digitopolis is worthy of the World stage

The twin cities of Illusions and Reality are quite a spectacular phenomenon

And in the Forest of Sight there is a man who is simultaneously the tallest, the shortest, the fattest and the thinnest man in the nation ... and in the morning and evening, Chroma, the nation's greatest conductor, leads the orchestra in the oncert of the day, playing the dawn and sunset into existance

Beyond the Forest of Sight is the Valley of Sound, where all the sounds in the World are kept

Finally, there is the Castle in the Air ... a quite amazing feat of engineering

Come and visit us ... We are sure you'll find it a place like no other and have the experience of a lifetime

*clears his throat*

Mine is the region my nation is built on, The Citidel of Omega: (There's an IC reason for the name.) a 4,500 mile stretch of ocean with some interesting geological and meteorological features.

First off, there's a 3,000 mile wide hurricane raging constantly. That's not the most impressive thing, though.

The "Citidel" itself is the largest mountain in the world, over two thousand miles wide and rising a frightening FIFTY-FIVE MILES above sea level. This behemoth of a mountain pierces the stratosphere, This beast lies in the middle of the above-mentioned hurricane, and is covered with automated defences left by the Mekantans' ancestors. Other relics lie in and about the mountain, but nobody has been able to find them all. The mountain is full of caverns and cave systems, all hiding things.

BEAT THAT!!

The Citadel of Omega? Interesting... The citizens of Omega Island (also named for its shape...) would be quite interested in that...

Outstanding Landmarks in the Mauve Principalities

The entire region is one outstanding landmark, being surrounded by a circular barrier of swirling chaos and energy storms, and hence, being shut off from the world. This makes travel and trade between the Principalities and the outside world extremely difficult, and consequently, an entire new world has evolved inside the barrier. Without a stasis generator (or similar technology/magic), all who attempt to go in or out of the Disruption Field are disintegrated into chaos.

Inside

The Backwards Forest

Fed by magical waters from the Whiskyfroth River, the great Oak forest has, over a period of a thousand years, reversed position, turning from a gigantic, looming, gloomy oak-tree forest, to a barren landscape of roots sticking out of the ground. About twenty to thirty metres underground there is a profound growth of dark green leaves and branches.

The Sideways Tree

At the periphery, on the edge of a cliff near the mouth of the Whiskyfroth River, out sticks a gigantic petrified tree about three hundred metres long and a hundred metres in diametre. At the end of this petrified tree is placed a tower, the tower of Princess Fantasia, where the Princess rules her few magic-heavy principalities. Being one of the smaller Principalities, but rich in magic, Fantasia's principalities tend to be home to lots of strange things. Including the gigantic petrified tree sticking sideways from a cliff over the ocean.

The Cavern of Magical Mysteries

This is from where the magical Whiskyfroth River flows, and it is rumoured to be home to magical little fairies that dance and sing all day long! Well, no not really. Perhaps in another fantasy nation, but the Eleventy-Five Principalities of the Principality of the Mauve Principalities isn't that kind of fantasy nation. Rather, the Cavern is filled with a great deal of darkness, methane gas and bat guano and the spring from which the river bubbles happens to be home to a single type of magical blind fish that only eat the colourless sulphur-eating lichen that grows on the rocks in their pool. The fish poop alone is responsible for the magical pollution in the Whiskyfroth River... But fortunately, nobody knows that.
