A service by the Legion of Defence

Are you a new nation and/or a pacifistic nation? Worried about war? Nanakaland and the Legion of Defence have the solution for you. The NationStates Protectorate Service serves you, the weaker nation. Here's how it works. Nations that have no army or have a population under 150 million can sign up. Bigger nations, with armies, can then sign up to protect any nations on the list.

The NationStates Protectorate Service Fine Print: Nanakaland is in no way responsible if you are part of this service and are still taken over by a nation. If you gain an army or grow past 150 million in population, it is up to the nations protecting you to decide if they will continue protecting you. If you provoke an attack, your Protectors have the right to stop protecting you. All Protectors help when the Protectorates are attacked, so long as the attack wasn't provoked. Military bases may be built by Protectors in the Protectorates as long as the Protectorate agrees. Don't even think of becoming a Protector unless you have at least a 100 million population. It is recomend to at least have a 150 million population before signing up as a Protector.

As a part of the Legion of Defense family, a new brach will be formed. This branch, the League of Saviors, will be a war releif effort. At anytime needed, the countries in that brach will go out and stop riots, return peace, and provide aid. If needed, they will set up a temporary government. Hence, if you want a service that acts to protect straight away, and with brute force, you might not want to put us on the list. Otherwise, you might. It's your choice.....

The Commonwealth of Tayricht, only just emerging from military infancy, knows the troubles of being the little guy in the fire. We will gladly offer our services as a Protector. Our total military consists of 5 Divisions of soldiers, a total of 200,000. And another 100,000 volunteer reserve officers. Our armed force consists of:

Read the fine print in the first post. You need at least 100 million to even consider signing up as a Protector.

We would like to sign up as a protectorate. Our nation has just been revived from deep freeze, and currently has no military. We would like some protection until we can restore our military might, and will also sign up as a Protector after the modernization of our military.

After some review, The Zoogie People has held a vote and decided unanimously that it would join all three - LoD, LoS, NSPS. Realize, though, that we can only be involved in one major situation at a time. There's only so much a high school student can have on his schedule :) So the limits are mostly OOC. IC-wise, I'm not the greatest land war RP'er, but I will do what I can to stop hostile nations from bullying smaller ones, to end terror and help in times of crisis.

Certainly Nuevo Kowloon can use the help-our last military action was in support of a larger nation-and it was a disaster for us. (over four thousand children have no fathers tonight, over two thousand parents grieve for their sons...and we have a widow problem in the Northwest District-there aren't enough marraigeable men left in the area, and many of our farming Co-ops have lost every adult male between the age of 15 and 56...) We humbly seek your protection while we recover, rebuild, and re-organize.

FallschrimmJager does not operate a military in any conventional sense of the word. We are a nation of businessess unified under one banner to better ply our wares internationally. To that end FallschrimmJager does not even sell Arms, rather it contracts out the most effective Correctional Facility in the world, and a global Logistics service over 150 million strong.
We have dedicated all our resources to quality of life and international trade. FallCorp(FallschrimmJager) also operates the G.E.R.T.(Global Emergancy Response Teams) who for no charge will endanger themselves to further humanitarian efforts across the globe.
We feel that the LoD would be perfect for protecting a nation that has no intention to ever engage in military aggression.
