Euroslavia, Nanakaland, and any others who want the information, we are ready to teach your scientists the arts of creating our concoctions and microorganisms. As soon as they have an understanding, we would like to commence experiments towards producing the new strain of TB. We are hosting the session in Area 6, our primary biological and chemical research station. Remember, we are covering:

VX nerve agent
Tabun nerve agent
Soman nerve agent
Sarin nerve agent
Nitrogen Mustard blister agent
Deviator insanity-inducing agent
Aurix-221 necrotic agent
Smallpox virus
Salmonella-Z bacterium
Anthrax bacterium

That's a shame. This is the only thread I've found selling BC weapons.

Wrong. This is an R&D thread, we're going to figure out how to develop Biological/Chemical weapons. Soon we'll be selling some in our storefront.

Will this include the vacines - so our soldiers can be vacinated - so only the enemy troops will be affected?

Of course. Anything else would be ignorant.

Yeah, I thought about that. I wondered if that would be enough to make them want to die, too. You hear so much about children doomed from the start by name......

We will send a representative immediately.

The CM of Icentom is also interested in these weapons; we will aslo send a representative if it is allowed.

EDIT: OOC: Yes, you can. We shall assume they were part of this presentation.

As the scientists arrive, Dr. Thrax has them put on NPC suits.

"Just in case, of course."

He stands at a large desk, laden with vials and bottles of various chemicals, as well as living mice in plastic containers. He puts on his eye shield and pulls his cloth mask tightly about his face, then puts rubber gloves on. The rest of his body is covered by an NPC suit. The scientists appear a bit curious as to why he would expose himself in such a manner to such dangerous materials; he answers their gazes.

"I have worked with toxins and organisms all my life, gentlemen. At the early age of 7, I was already mixing household cleaners to make insect toxins. This is a comfortable dress for work, and I assure you, I am not afraid of death from my creations."

He proceeds to show the attendees the methods of creating the nerve and blister agents. He applies them to some of the mice in order to show their levels of potency and effects. Within minutes, every tested mouse is still, some contorted in strange shapes, one with ghastly blisters and oozing sores all over its body.

"Not pretty, eh? Hehe. I hope that none of you are sickened by this...it is a standard procedure after all, to make sure every batch is up to par."

Next, he pulls a container out from under the desk. It is made out of clear plastic as well. Inside is a carcass of some unidentifiable rodent, covered with a black mossy substance.

"This, gentlemen, is a beautiful fungus created by myself and other scientists from across the globe. We have yet to name it, and are still studying it, so unfortunately, you will not have the honor of learning how to create it at this time. We will give you samples later on. However, this is the microorganism responsible for the chemical known as Aurix-221. Notice how the host's soft tissue is putrid, unrecognizable, and almost liquid. These effects are caused by this wonderous chemical. It causes necrosis in virtually any cell that it comes in contact with within a very short period of time. The fungus uses it to digest its host; we will use it to maim and kill our enemies."

OOC: Research here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107600&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20&sid=ef694c56cb6256916a71d08a3612b780)

Thrax goes through the delicate extraction process, cutting out a piece of the fungus and attaching it to an electrode. He switches the current on, and the fungus begins to slowly ooze a bit of the chemical. He uses a syringe to collect some of the chemical, then pours half of it onto one mouse, and injects the rest into another.

"Watch as the hair and skin of the first mouse is decomposed. If the damage is sufficient, it will die within half an hour. The second mouse, here, is suffering the effects from the inside. It should be dead within minutes. Notice how, already, the creature is being immobilized."

Blood and liquid tissue begins to pour out of the rodent's orifices. Thrax injects some cyanide into the mouse in order to bring about its death sooner, then closes the lid.

"Now that we have gone through the process of creating our toxins, we will cover the effects and distribution methods for the microorganisms Smallpox, Anthrax, and Salmonella-Z."

He picks up a small vial of white powder.

"In here we have a particularly deadly strain of Anthrax, in spore form. I'm sure that your militaries are familiar with distribution methods; release in the air for maximum effectiveness, symptoms will set in within a day or two, survival is unlikely. The bacterium is obtainable from nature, but we will supply your nations with startup batches. We like to breed the cultures from specifically designed nutrient batches, and then keep them in fermentation devices, which we will make available to your nations. Fairly simple, yes?"

He puts down that vial and picks up another one, with a red, mushy appearance.

"Here we have a Smallpox culture. We will also supply a startup batch to you. Smallpox is only deadly in about 30% of cases, but it can immobilize enemies for such a period of time that great victories can be achieved, and, of course, there is no cure once infected. A highly contagious disease once symptoms set in, the best bet is to hope that people do not realize that it is a Smallpox infection until the virus has been transmitted. We breed the cultures in cell batches. There is little need for full fermentation processes, contrary to Anthrax, but such methods can speed up the breeding. Transmission is difficult if not done by person-to-person or person-to-material, such a blanket, but there are tricks. Tampering with food and supplies by insurgents or operatives behind enemy lines would be particularly effective."

He puts down that vial and picks up the last one, which contains a brown, mushy substance.

"And finally, gentlemen, we have Salmonella-Z. A direct creation from my very own labs, this is a genetically tampered strain of the common, durable bacterium Salmonella. Z takes the durability and symptom speed of Salmonella, which is able to survive in almost any common environmental conditions and usually takes noticeable effect within a day, and then adds extra deadliness. This particular bacterium excretes a small bit of the botulinum toxin, a paricularly deadly chemical once it enters deep into the body. Z can be breathed in or eaten, but is most effective if transmitted through water and food. Eventually, severe abdominal hemorraghing will result in most cases, killing the victim."

Thrax sets the vial down and looks up at the small group.

"Questions?"
