This thread contains the details of the Seran War between Munimula and Youngtung of England. Please, no assistance from any other country (by that we mean no shipments of goods) Thank you.

YOUNGTUNG MILITARY COMMAND - 5:40 a.m. - Jan. 1, 2004

"Well, it's up to us to launch the first strike, therefore, we'll strike hard,"
"I agree, but what should we hit?"
"It's simple, we go for the heart. The capital."
"B-b-b-but how do we get to the capital, sir, it's almost 50 miles inland over the Munimula border. Even if we got the Harriers over there, you still have to dodge all the anti-aircraft fire!"
"Then we send the Apaches to go with them, and at the same time, load some concussion missiles onto the Delta 4 class subs and get the stealth boats armed."
"What about the infantry, sir?"
"Get them armed with the AK-47's and the KO grenades have just arrived so we can give those to the troops as well. Also, pick out your best marksmen as we have just recived a shipment of Sniper Rifles so we need men to arm those."
"Yes, sir. However, sir, I'm wondering, do you know if the rumors that Munimula has nukes are true?"
"Unfortunately, the rumors ARE true, however, they are small nukes, not even 1 kilaton, so they aren't as big a threat as some other things."
"I understand, sir. I'll get on those preparations right away."
"Excellent, we strike at noon!"

YOUNGTUNG MILITARY COMMAND - 11:57 a.m. - Jan. 1, 2004

"The Harriers, Apaches, and Delta 4 subs have been armed with the concussion missiles, sir"
"Excellent, launch them now. Have the Harriers and Apaches head directly inland and have the Delta 4 subs surface right outside the port town of Nit, that way they can launch the missiles while fairly close."
[Calling on phone]"Send the first wave in now, tell them to remember the rules of engagement and tell the subs to wait for confirmation for launch."
"Sir, what about the infantry, when do you wish to send them in?"
"Later, right now we need to do as much damage as we can with minimal risk. Now that all systems have been armed, how many missiles do we have left?"
[Checking clipboard]"Somewhere around 400, sir."
"400? I didn't know all of these took up so much, oh well, nothing we can do now, how long till the 1st wave gets to the capital?
"ETA, 30 minutes."
[Talking to himself] "So as we venture into another territory, we seek out to destroy our neighbors. We fight, not only for ourselves, but for our belifs, our dreams. We look to fight one another, just to show that we are superior, when we really are lesser than those who make ways of peace."

From the office of the President Appointed Lord Murry:Jan 1st the War has started.The Dictatorship of Youngtung's navy has surounded or port city of Nit.Infantry has arrived in force at the city limits of our capital Mustard-on-Tweed.I have mobilizes the Munimula army,and marines.Special Shock squads have been deployed to deal with Youngtung armour divisions.And the (Crimson Line) a defense perimiter around our capital city has been activated.all Guns are trained and all our once beutiful beaches are now active mine fields.

Personal Note: A cold wind blows over my once serene land,and I think many of us,will wither before it's icy blast.

YOUNGTUNG MILITARY COMMAND - 12:20 p.m. - Jan. 1, 2004

"The Harriers and Apaches are over the capital, sir"
"Excellent, tell them to drop their payload and then go back to help out the infantry."
"Yes, sir. The Delta 4 class are also in position."
"Have they been detected?"
"No,sir, not yet."
"Good, have them launch and then quickly get out of there."
"Aye, aye, sir."

MUNIMULA CAPITAL MUSTARD-STANE-ON-TWEED - 12:30 p.m. - Jan. 1, 2004

"Do you hear that?"
"What?"
"That roaring sound..."
"Yeah, it sounds sort of like..."
KA-BOOOM! KA-BOOM! KA-BOOM! KA-BOOM!
"AAAAHH! What's going on!"
"I dunno, let's get outta here!"

MUNIMULA CITY OF NIT - 1:00 p.m. - Jan. 1, 2004

"Sir, word has just come in that the Munimula infantry is marching out to meet us."
"Very well, let them come"

MUNIMULA CITY OF NIT - 5:49 a.m. - Jan. 2, 2004

"Sir, our lookouts have spotted the infantry, they are here!"
"ALL MEN TO ARMS!"

The Munimula army came to the city and the Youngtung army wasn't quite prepared. The Munimula army immediately opened fire and caught many soldiers off gaurd. In the first wave, they defeated approx 129 men. The Youngtung army was finaly ready and they got to arms. As the gun reports flew throughout the city, the Delta 4 class subs where heading home to the Youngtung military port at Laels.

[To Delta 4 class sub]"Come in sub 23-64A"
"Yes, sir"
"The infantry at Nit needs your assistance, turn those things around and get those weapons to the troops immediately"
"Yes, sir"

Meanwhile, the Munimula army had been having a very good victory so far.

"Sir, there are reports that there are Youngtung reinforcements on the way."
"What type of reinforcements, liutenant?"
"Weapons and aircraft, sir"
"Any ideas of what type of air-"
"Sir, this just in, the Youngtung airforce bombed the capital, sir"
"What? How much damage"
"They missed most of the major targets, but they did get the right half of the capital building"
"We must retreat to the capital, they need protection"
"Yes, sir"

MUNIMULA CAPITAL MUSTARD-STANE-ON-TWEED - 7:00 a.m. - Jan. 2, 2004

"Sir, we must retalliate with something, the capital building is half gone!"
"Yes, I'm aware of that. Do we have any concussion missiles ready to fire?"
"A couple,sir"
"Where are they?
"Near Nit, sir"
"How far could we launch those missiles into Youngtung?"
"30-40 miles, sir"
"Excellent, tell the operators to send the missiles directly to the Youngtung capital"
"Yes, sir"

The Munimulan concussion missiles immediately launched tword the Youngtungian capital of Kovves. Eleven minutes later, they smashed into the Youngtung Stock Exchange, and the 1st Youngtung National Bank. Two more hit in civillian centers, and one of them landed into a military camp's weapon storage center, blowing up a B-2 in the process.

YOUNGTUNG MILITARY COMMAND - 10:00 a.m. - Jan. 2, 2004

"Sir, we have taken major civillian casulaties, and we have lost a B-2 at our Toscow Military Base."
"My god.."
"However, sir, there is some good news, we have taken the city of Nit."
"Really, well, that gives us a good stand. We need to do something more, but what?"
"Prehaps... maybe... how are the B-6's. Are they fueled?"
"No, sir"
"Get the B-6's up and running. I have an idea..."

From the President Appointed Lord Murry: The war is not going as we planned.Our advisors have drastically under estimated the strength of the Youngtung militay.We did have some early successes.And the enemy was bogged down on our beaches for quite a while.However the tide seems to be turning.their missles and cuncussion bomds rain down on our capital city like explosive raindrops.I have transfered my command into the deep bunker,(hoping against hope that they do not have bunker busters!)I will try to get to The Yello Mountain stronghold.But since half the capital building is destroyed,and most roads are covered by the YoungTungians.I don't believe I will be able to leave this place. Air travel even in jet coppers is impossible due to the number of heat seeking missles alof.My troops fight valiently on the home front.However the ones attacking the Youngtung capital city have been desisivly repelled.
Note: I't may be soon time for desperate measures......

YOUNGTUNG MILITARY COMMAND - 9:45 p.m. - Jan. 2, 2004

"Sir, the B-6's are prepared to take off."
"Execllent, have them travel over these cities."
"But sir, these cities aren't very major. The populations are only civillians with only twenty thousand or less."
"I'm aware of that lieutenant, however, one concussion missile will get rid of almost each city entirely and think of it. Ten to twenty of these missiles. Think of the damage"
"But sir, wouldn't it be better to aim at the military camps, that way there wouldn't be hardly any resistance to the infantry."
"Wonderful point. On second thought, do that. Locate twenty of the largest military camps that you can find and wipe them off the map!"
"Yes, sir. However, there's only two B-6's."
"Then load them as much as you can and wipe out as many as possible"
"Do you wish to send any help with them?"
"Yes, send the MiG-29's in first. That way the anti-aircraft fire will be drawn to them and then the B-6's will have a clear shot"
"Yes, sir"

MUNIMULA HIDDEN SAFEROOM - 10:00 p.m. - Jan. 2, 2004

"Sir, we must do something drastic!"
"Well, what did you have in mind?"
"The nukes, sir!"
"Nukes, you really want to do that much damage?"
"Absolutely, sir! They took out so much, we must defend our own lands!"
"I'm not entirely sure about the nukes... I'm not entirely sure we need to go and destroy countless numbers of innocent lives...."
"But sir, they have destroyed about 100 thousand civillians so far, and they have started to take our towns. They allready have taken Nit!"
"Well, that is horrible, howe-"
"Sir, sir, we have just recived news that eight of our military camps have been entirely destroyed by a large aireal bombing run!"
"What, any idea how many dead?"
"About 5 thousand, sir."
"Very well seargent, you have my permission to use the nukes."
"Yes, sir!"
[To himself] "Neculear weapons... the largest weapons ever built by mankind, just to destroy the other people who made them. I don't get it. We make giant weapons just to destroy the people who had nothing to do with them. When a nuke detonates, you're not destroying your enemy, these people did nothing to you. You're just destroying your neighbors, friends, and family. You're not destroying your rival, your just destroying yourself...."

From the Great Bunker Office of the President Appointed Lord Murry;God help me.!!! I have oked project double-cross...Three months ago,when Youngtung asked for represenative to come there and barter for peace.Project Double-cross was put into operation.Munimula has no missle based nukes or sub's capable of launching a 10 megaton bomb towards our enemy.So under the camophlage of PEACE.negotiations.We planted Low yield nuclear devices (1.6 to 2 kilotons) In the capital city..and the large cities of Wanton,and Flebalisk. I have already been advised by what undercover agents we have left in Youngtung..that those 3 cities,do not exist....anymore.The 4 navel bases and ! SAC base with a significant number of b-52 and b-6 have been destroyed..along with half a million troops.....and 3.5 million innocent civilians..How will history see us?? I must take this chance and move to yello mountian command post...all hell is sure to break out now.

"Sir, we have taken heavy casualties, we are hurting sir!"
"I'm aware of that. How many concussion missiles do we have left?"
"About 350, sir!"
"Very well, get all of them loaded on everything that can carry one and drop them all over that country, leave nothing alive!"
"Yes, sir!"

"Sir, massive casulaties. We've lost almost all of our military bases and we have taken somewhere around 10 million casualties! We cannot hold out on this war much longer!"
"I'm aware of that. Get the Youngtungian leader on the line, we need to talk!"

From the Yello mountain command center :General Ivan Stukinnaditch,
in command since the terrible death of Lord Murry and his entire staff after the massive bombing of our beloved (but late)Capital city of Mustardstane-On-Tweed.The small nuclear weapons we have deployed have seem to have the oppisite effect on the Youngtung military.Instead of demoralizing the still fighting troops.We seem to have "Waken a Sleeping Dragon".The have driven us back on both fronts (something I was against at the onset! 2 front war...damn,unforgivable.!Don't these people read history?)We of the general staff are now trying to figure out a way to surrender with dignity.If that is a possibility.Our county is overrun.there is mass looting in the cities,which are for now just burned out deserted (exept for dead) ruins.Thousands apon thousands of unburied burned corpses line every roadway.And desiese is rampent,in every part of the country.All commmerce has been destroyed and the economy...well theres not enough to buy a single bullet.We are running on fumes here.( there are still 2 generals and an admiral who think we can WIN this yet!)Fools....will I have to put them down myself,so that more level and realistic heads may prevail?My...plans are set .I will wait not much longer........my poor country has not much time left.

they will talk peace(thank you lord).....all thats left now to do to stop this war..is agree on HOW TO STOP.

The Ambassadors from Munimula arrived at the Youngtungian Military Command to talk with the Youngtungian ambassadors. The peace talks where sucessful and the two nations agreed to help each other rebuild. The Munimulas admitted that they had made up all of the mean things they have said and then they signed a treaty promising never to have a nother confrontation again. The neighboring countries of Youngtong (Youngtung's sister country) and Werdahek Ami Island have also agreed to help the two countries rebuild and bring peace once more to the wonderful nation of England.
