Around 1 o'clock this morning, Mestionian soldiers assumed control of the port of Cape May. The city for years has been home to the Mayoru Tribe, a people with a long and frustrating history with the Commonwealth of Mestionian. Mestionian took the city in a matter of hours despite heavy resistance on the part of the Mayoru. Government casualties are estimated below 20, whereas the Mayoru death toll is estimated to be in the hundreds. The remaining Mayoru populace has been re-located to prevent any possible counter-offensive. The city remains in tact, and will resume trading with the neighboring islands within the week. Mestionian officials hope that the newly aquired city will prove beneficial to the nation's already prosperous economy.

HRH's government of Midlonia and Midlania Seriously condemn this action taken by Mestonian government, we DEMAND those people be returned are returned to what is obviously their land, and will intervene on this shameless act of racism

The government of Mestionian would like to see the economically troubled nation in question back up their half-cocked statements. Cape May is Mestionian territory, any advance on the city or its suburbs will be considered an act of war. Small our military may be, but weak it is not.

Central Facehuggeria askes the nation of Mestonian to move the city's populace back to their homes. We do not however request that you withdraw from the city at this time.

We hope this new port will prove to have many economic benefits for your peoples, for it is only through trade that peace can be achieved. Incidentally, one of our naval vessels is currently patrolling close to Cape May. With your permission, it could make a port call to show good relations between our nations, as well as to provide a deterrent against those who would try to seize your city by unlawful means.

Falastur inquires to the reason behind this military move. If your country has recently decided to exterminate your native population, for whatever reason, or if there is any suggestion that you don't want these natives, then Falastur offers itself to take in your natives to our country, in order both to avoid a dispute and for the sake of the natives. We, of course, will only do so if the natives wish it....

The Commonwealth of Mestionian welcomes your vessle to the port of Cape May Shildonia. However, to ensure the tranquility of the city, before docking your vessle must forfit all weapons to the MPC(Mestionian Patrol Craft)Tigress. Rest assured that every round of ammunition will be returned as it was recieved, but for the safety of her soldiers and the civilian populace, all weapons must be forfitted prior to docking. Additonally, the Commonwealth of Mestionian understands the concerns of sister nations with regard to her treatment of the Mayoru people. Nations of the world, you have our word of honor that the Mayoru are being treated decently, and will be returned to their homes within the month once we have had time to effectively set up a civilian government.
