In Bonstock today, fireworkes exploded over Port Yuko, marking the new year.
But this will bring conscription for approximatly 5 million Bonstocknians.
As of now, some 1,300 training regiments have been activated to train these men into fighting men.
The conscription is largely due to increased tensions in the Far East. It is known that many of the new conscripts will train, and then be sent overseas to Asia for the coming conflict.
The force going to Asia will be a volunteer based force, but the training is still compulsory for men and women in Bonstock.
The new year also brings a reorganization for the Bonstocknian Army.
Some 240 new brigades will be raised for service, to outfit some 80 divisions.
The brigades will be armored, and highly capable, each containing CV-90s and Leapord IIS MBTs.
Many are being prepared for deployment overseas as a deterance to war.
