Maniaca and Obscure Nation have announced their intent to angrily crush the inhabitants of ZyzoxIII The Zyzox for Puppets. Created out of contempt for the founder of ZyzoxII, the third region has stolen the good name Zyzox and pasted it onto a "sweatshop, tinpot, assembly line production of a region." This has angered the founder, as well as a native Zyzoxian named Obscure Nation. Therefore, we have decided to take military action. 1,000,000 Obscure Nation Troops have been outfitted and mobilized for battle. 5,000,000 Maniacan Groundborne forces have done likewise. They will be loaded onto Elephantine Carriers and shipped with numerous aircraft. Also, a separate Elephantine Carrier loaded with merely aircraft and small naval units has been deployed with them.

OOC: I'm going to let Obscure do most of the fighting, seeing as how I could lay both CHOMP and Milla da Killa low with one fell swoop. Should the situation get out of hand, I will step in and give aid.

IC: Anti-aircraft batteries chattered as a squadren of Tyrannist bombers flew low over the CHOMPian capital city. They could hear the shouts of the frightened inhabitants. The AA brought several of the bombers down like flys... but they simply crashed into CHOMP buildings, causing more devistation then was actually intended. Upon reaching the communications building, the carpet bombing commenced. Citizens fled in terror, but mosts efforst were futile in stopping their inevitable demise. CHOMP scrammbled an air-borne counter-attack, but by the time they reached the sky, the damage was done. What was left of the Tyrannists turned around and headed back for the carriers

Simultaniously in Milla da Killa...

Maniacan Destroyers rolled silently into a deep-water bay off the coast of Milla da Killa, daring closer then was possible in clear weather. Indeed, the reason that the Allies had not chosen the attack with bombers was a terrible fog that had rolled in from the central low-lands. The ships ground to a halt, and their was some shouting to clear the deck. Then, a barrage of cruise missles streaked from the under-deck ports, illuminating the sky until disappearing into the abyss. Their intended target was a munitions depot on the outskirts of a major coastal city. The ship captains cheered as they heard the first volley of missles make earth-fall. Their was a large explosion, and it was certain that the munitions depot was obliterated. Missle defence systems showed up late, if there were any at all. As silently as they came, the destroyers glided out to sea...

OOC: I'm expecting damage report... FAIR ones.

Legions of Maniacan Groundborne squad marched into the area that once was a MillaKillan Munitions Depot. They made that their base of operations, among the charred remains. For all they cared, that mess was now their capital city, and the rest of the country revolved around it. A Colenel brought up a recent(well, the country was made less then 2 months ago, any map of it is recent) map of the country, and showed it to his commanding officer. The general meshed the map with a few programs on the laptop, and went to work planning their war. Sword Turtle Squad, the elite, would march straight to the capital, taking out whatever they ran into along the way. Shaggymaggy Squad, second only to them, would be taking out a naval base closest to where the carriers were stationed. The rest of them would stay here and hold down the former fort.

OOC: Keep in mind, Milla da Killa doesn't know this, unless you sent a spy to us, or are a godmodder. From what I know, any spy from a nation that young wouldn't be very skilled, therefore leading him to be shot and/or killed. So I don't think there were any spies. Therefore, due to the bombing, which probably some of the people at the depot radioed capital about, you can probably beef up security--everywhere, not just where I'm headed, except for maybe extra at the capital--but not know exactly where I'm going. Keep this in mind.

Message to both aggressive parties involved:
Have you considrered a diplomatic approach to this situation? It is unwise to go to war for such a reason as people like ATA show up and use it as an excuse to attack you, along with a bunch of other people who think that the world should obey their rules.
In any event, the GDA is willing to host the negotiations and help to enforce any treaty.
If, however, you are not interested in the treaty the GDA may be forced to take actions to maintain the soverignty of a nation. Naturaly, this may include attacks on yourselves. Please do not be alarmed, this need not be your future, we can solve this before it escalates.

MGBF ShaggyMaggy Squad arrived at the rear of the Naval Base, while a group of Frogs(small boats with a front mounted gun or grenade launcher) attacked from the front. It was still quite foggy, so they refrained from firing immediately. The MillaKillans had yet to spot the small 10 man squad in the greenery, nor did the squad intend to be seen. It was ludicrous for any other group of 10 people to attack a whole base, even with frog coverage. They would wait for the people in the base to focus all units toward the front, and then stealthily infiltrate the base from the rear. They heard the FOOMF of a grenade fire, and seconds later, the BOOM of the explosion. A Major in the brush picked off a soldier from the top of a tower, but no one noticed that the shot came from the rear. They were dashing forward to shoot at the frogs, and man, did the frogs go down. Their size however, had allowed them to get very close to shore before being sank, letting the soldiers manning them get on the beach and continue the fight, if they hadn't been killed. If they could salvage the gun from the front they did, but otherwise they pulled out a Clown Gang issue Automatic handgun and fired away, using fog and dunes as cover. The ShaggyMaggy squad was about to venture to the base, when a cover squad, sent from the munitions depot arrived. They were Skyhopper squad, a group of 15 new recruits. They plodded stealthily to the giant rear entrance. Then, a group of guards appeared on the roof above the door, and shot down at the Maniacans. Taken by surprise, they quickly ran and squatted down next to the door, forcing the defenders to fire straight down at them, while a soldier worked the locks. An offender reached for his back, pulled out a stun grenade, stabbed the hole, and tossed it up, over the rail, right in the middle of the surprise defending force. It exploded, and blue shrapnel with bolts of electricity running through them rained on the ground in front of them. The turned around and busted through the door, gaining access to the fort.....

Should "The Anti-Terror Army" use Nuclear Weapons, Iuthia will react in the strongest way possible, seeing as we have removed our Nuclear capability and replaced it with a defence system this reation will result in a state of conventional war with Iuthia and allies with Iuthia who are also against the use of WMD in such stupid situations as this.

We remain against the concept of "mutually assure destruction" however and we would prefer that the ATA step down from this threat less they be added to our black list, should they carry out this threat they will be added to the red list and declared war upon.

A pair of ONAD-53 Skid attack aircraft flew low over an airfield in CHOMPian territory. Thier six-barreled gats tore potholes into landing strips and toppled buildings. Anti-aircraft fire was heavy, but the Skid's 4-inch Titanium "skid plate" protecting the innerworkings and the pilots.
"Black 2 this is Black 1, pull out. I'll regroup ASAP," one pilot radioed to the other.
"Aff. Safe flight," he responded, banking heavily and putting full throttle on back to the carrier fleet.
The other loosed several Maverick-class ASM into the radio control tower, and the building erupted into flames. He banked, releasing a JDAM into the barracks, and jetting away.

In Milla da Killa...

General Fort made landfall as the Maniacans were setting up their base in the former munitions depot. He stopped a Maniacan soldier, ordering, "Tell your CO that the Obscure Nation forces are right behind him. The main invasion force will be here in a few hours. We've deployed four tank battalions to aid Sword Turtle in the push toward the MillaKillian capital. Additional forces will be sent if need-be,"
"Yes sir," the soldier replied simply, rushing off.

In any case, DGNT would like to encourage Obscure Nation and any other parties to cease hostilites until negotations may take place.
DGNT also supports Iutha. We have nukes. We have bio/chem weapons. We have really big ships with really big guns and really big missiles. We can strip every water molocule out of your pathetic state and use it to cool the lasers the turn said pathetic country into glass.

Iuthia is not taking sides on the matter, we simply condemn the use of Nuclear Weapons for little to no reason. The original matter is something we concider as an internal affair for the time being and as such Iuthia will not be getting involved, we just wanted to make it clear that Iuthia will not tolerate the use of WMD for the reasons ATA gave.

DGNT, we would prefer that the threat of WMD is not repeated, while we respect your additional support, we do no condone the threat of WMD unless you are directly threatened with WMD yourself. Iuthia's own strength is down to simple military power... we can produce more, support more and field more then many other nations, the use of WMD is often a mixed blessing as their use destroys infrastructure that we would rather keep operational, the losses to civilian life.

actually, I didn't even mean to make like 7 posts that were the same thing, but my computer said it didn't send, so...

the 13,000,000 CHOMPites in the Armed Forces prepare for battle. 6,000,000 take a pincer-based attack stance on the ground, while another 1,000,000 wait in the seas around Obscure Nation, where the ground attack will force the Obscurians towards. another 3,000,000 wait on the ground opposite the seas, if the Obscurians choose to retreat. the final 3,000,000 are stealthily approaching the 3 main Obscurian cities through the air. 1,000,000 B-2 Bombers and CHOMP (a new type of deadly missile) Launching Fighters will attack each of the 3 main cities within the next 3 hours, killing possibly millions of innocent Obscurian civilians.

Note:

don't think I'm "godmodding" or whatever the term is. I have compulsory military service, for both men and women. factor in approximately 1/3 of the population being seniors and children, that leaves me with approximately 13,000,000 well-trained and well-funded soldiers, thanks to the government's high focus on military funding, providing training facilities and the latest weaponry development and supplies. 8)

OOC: I'm going to take this post apart piece by peice on the principal that you haven't even bothered to read the stickies explaining why this isn't possible... the fact you have left your nation with nothing but children and old people to defend your lands, supply your troops and otherwise keep your nation working.

Firstly, no nation can have all it's able people in the military, even with complusory military. Iuthia has complusory military which works out about 1.5% of our population in the military at any on time.

But to be fair, I could use your figures to say I have one billion people in my military and then use that military to take your empty nation. Hell, I could use only 500 million of them and leave my nation defended from attack.

Of course, you then go to assume that you have a well funded military... not taking into account that with all of your able bodied people in the military you don't have anyone left to run your industries, clerical positions or even your support personnel who give you ammo, food and parts for your military.

So this means you have no economy (money) you have no food to feed your people (their all dying) and you have no ammo for your troops... in fact with no money they don't have clothes, food or pay... so they will have turned on you and killed your higher officals.

You don't have naval units to move your troops to his nation, you don't have tanks or trucks to move your people and basically you can't do anything other then watch your nation fall to peices...

Anymore then 5% of your population in the military will affect your funds, the less funds the well people you can train and the smaller the military.

So to sum it all up, I ignore your broken nation.

approximately 1,500,000 Classicopians move into CHOMP to protect the nation. another 3,000,000 move in to help keep up the military's weaponry supply. more help is expected from Milla da Killa.

approximately 3,000,000 Killans come into CHOMP to keep up the food supplies and distribution. all restaurants are shut down temporarily to have more food supplied. the children and seniors go into large shelters such as schools and stadiums to save money and workers. the workers at the shelters will go to grocery stores to get the food needed. to also save costs and workers, no food needed to be heated up will be provided. another 1,000,000 are shipped in to keep up the other industries and needs. the military in Milla da Killa is split, 2/3 in Milla da Killa, and 1/3 in CHOMP. more help from other un-named nations is anticipated.

OOC: You guys don't get it, even with your support he would not of had the economic support in the first place to train 13 million guys well, I don't think with all your nation breaking their economies you could do that because we are looking at alot of cash for each man.

How do you move your people to his nation in time to stop his soldiers from dying of hunger? You can't just teleport into his nation. It takes time to move this many men, look at America for example, it took them months of deployment to get their troops near Iraq...

Basically it's all impossible. His men couldn't leave his nation and it couldn't of happened.

Sort yourselves out or be ignored. Read some of the stickied threads and guilds on how to RP your nation.

Until you sort this out and change your statements, I will ignore this player. Your nations can't support his army, they couldn't have been trained in the first place and he probably couldn't have built the weapons for his men or the food which you seek to give out.

That includes ammo loaders, medical, and supply train people. Your posts are simply ludacris and are not based in fact. First, none of your troops (what little of them there are) couldn't reach my nation without being detected and/or intercepted and/ or being blown to little itty bitty pieces. If you proceede with these infactual, godmoding (perhaps even moronic) posts, we will ignore you and over-run your country.

OOC: We have not declared war on Classic Maverick. We have mearly declared war on his puppets. If Classic wishes to enter this war and be demolished, he can go right ahead. Your nation hasn't been flattened yet. Those were mearly the preliminary attacks. Obscure's bombing run was a dry run, probably blew up a few gas stations. The munitions depot was expendable, and the naval base is still defendable. So, your nations are still intact. If you wish to end this now, Obscure has a peace treaty drawn up. You're "I'm the victim" attitude really ticks me off. Just RP it right, or type your name on the peace treaty, and it will all be fine.

Four squadrens of ONAD-2 Liberator Bombers flew high, above the clouds over the CHOMPian capital. "This is Grey Leader to all Grey Units. Commence carpet bombing,"
"Affermative," his squadmates said in unison, opening up their gargantuan bomb bays and dispensing 25,000 lbs of ordinance each. When all of the bombs were loosed, they closed the bays up, and turned around, heading back to the carriers.

OOC: We have the treaty drawn up. Judging by your new attitude(that attitude which you appear to have not given up), you wouldn't like to sign it, as it is a total victory on out part. If you'd like to draw one up yourself, or if you'd like to see ours tell us.

ShaggyMaggy/Skyhopper acheived entry to the base. There first move was down. To the basement and the breaker. They met little resistance until they reached the first basement. There were guards everywhere. Apparently, this was where they stocked the weapons. Bullets were stopped by kevlar, bullets passed kevlar without a hitch, 'twas the nature of a Maniacan bulletproof vest in close combat. A smoke grenade proved the catalyst to Maniacan victory in the basement. Maniacan soldiers retreated as the room filled with smoke, and fired blindly into the mist, some bullets hitting there mark, others passing safely. The squads stuffed there empty backpacks with arms they would study back home. A combined squad of 25 was now 16, they would be roughing it on the way back, a one night stay in the woods. They refocused on the Battle at hand, an alarm was sounded and they were found. They set up motion stun mines all over the basement before quickly departing down the stairs to the sub-basement. There they found no guards.......only second-rate auto guns......that are very deadly when they take you by surprise. 3 more fell before the guns were taken out. In the dark of the sub-basement, they had to feel around for the breaker switch. They heard the BOOM of the stun mines going off. When they accidentally tripped the breaker, they could feel the hum of the machines making the place run go silent. They threw another smoke grenade up the steps and ran up them blind, in the dark smoke. When they finally got out of the basement, there were guards everywhere. They stood back to back to back....and fired straight away. By the time they had cleared that room, there were 8 of them left. The rest of the defenders were battling the frogs out front. With no power, the defense was hindered, but not badly. While they would have no electricity(they broke off the lever after tripping it) after the battle, leaving them with spoilt food and no heat or cooling, all they needed was gunpowder and shells to continue the battle. They went up to the front portholes and fired at the defenders on the beach. Then, they made the ascent to the roof. Just below the entrance to the roof, a ShaggyMaggy tossed a frag grenade up. They heard the explosion, and noticed someone fall down in front of a porthole. They ran up and fired at the defenders. There were tons of them. Some of them remained in the entrance and fired a random shot and tossed a random grenade, which did a surprising amount of damage. In the end, they just didn't have the numbers. They fired all the way down the stairs and out the door. Thinking they had the squad beat, the defenders turned back to the frogs. However, as soon as they had exited the base, they reentered, threw their whole stock of grenades as they climbed the stairs and just shot their ammo out. They threw people over the rail off the roof, the pushed people down the stairs if they could get them that far over, and the frogs were covering them very well. They were making such a stink on that roof that eventually, all the defenders had to cover them. There were people with bullet holes all over them, lying on the ground and still taking people out. The frogs stopped their fire on the front wall and climbed up it, onto the roof by using the huge holes in it from the shells. After about 20 minutes of fighting, they finally really didn't have the numbers and ran off into the woods, hootin' and hollering. They would be returning to that base real soon, to finish the job.

IC: Lieutenant Gregor led his four tank battalions through the narrow, winding valley to the CHOMPian capital. They sped as fast as they could, trying desperatly to catch up to Sword Turtle squad. As they reached yet another bend in the road, they came upon a small outpost. They had found the Maniacans.

"Sword Turtle outpost, this is Lieutentant Gregor of the Dark Light Tank Battalion. We were sent by General Fort to aid in the push to the CHOMPian capital. Where are all of the tanks?"

"Dark Light Battalion, this is Sword Turtle outpost. Tanks have departed and are currently en-route to the capital,"

"Crap... when did they leave?"

"About 1/2 an hour ago, Dark Light,"

"Okay... not as bad as I thought... Be seeing you, Sword Turtle,"

"Outpost, out,"

Gregor switched to a secure channel. "Major Heres, deploy two Schnell tanks to catch up the Sword Turtle. Tell them to wait up,"

"Yes, sir,"

The two Schnell light tanks sped off at top speed, leaving the rest in the dust.

"I hope they reach Sword Turtle in time... if at all..."

wtf just happened??? you're like, "here, I'll go bust into the capital" or something. and how can I post losses when I didn't even know I had second-rate auto cannons or whatever...and you were like fighting the air and getting killed, 'cause I had no idea what just happened.

OOC: Don't worry about it. If you wanna' send out spy planes, you can find our encampment. If you wanna' beef up security at the capital, you can. If you wanna' send reinforcements to the base, go right ahead, just make sure they possibly exist. You have auto-cannons, you have a naval base, and you had several hundred people at the naval base(why? because those are basics. Everyone has those. You probably had those your second day.)who were ravaged by a group of about 75 due to training, strategy and surprise. I lost a total 20 squad members and 25 frogs, leaving me with 5 squad members and 5 frogs left from the mission, so it was a mutual ravaging. The assault on the capital is a small hit and run mission, which will likely send the city/nation into a panic, the desired effect. We will make a more solid attempt to take the capital at a later time, if the war escalates to that point.

I have talked with my allies, who are small, but large in quantity, and we have decided to end this friendly fire war. what we need to focus on is to help ZyzoxII to grow, and we need everyone in the UN. I've gotten intelligence that a few very powerful regions, 3 with over 100 UN Members, are preparing to overrun a few regions that are of the larger sort, which unfortunately involves us...I'll tell you more later; so, because of this new information, I would like to see your treaty.

"Thank God..." Fort sighed, turning around. Evidently, a direct telegram to General Fort had some meaning, as most of the camp was huddled around in a semi-circle around him. "Boys... pack up your shit. We're goin' home,"

Cheers erupted from the soldiers, and they immediatly set forth to recall units from the field, and to pack...

General Pickett looked at the message. "Dangit, I wanted to show off our military prowess. Well, there's nothing more we can do. Let's get on the carriers and get out of here."
