This seems like a wonderful idea to teach new nations to RP a war[game] is there any way we can aid you with monetary support?

And yes, Mektana is a race of AIs. They are modern tech that specializes in AI type weapons systems. Of course, this comes at a price of just about everything else, but they'll research it all eventually.

The sim will use the MILES laser gear that when I last checked could be fitted to almost everything from 9mm pistols to 16 inch guns, so there will be no real casulties although it is exactly the same as a real war

The hills- in a line aprt from hill 211 which is infront of the rest, they are in triangle shape

Hill 326- gentle slope leading to a steep slope, grassy then rocks, to the right

Infront of the 3 hills is a open plain with a wood on one side, the plain it self has a few dips and crests and is not completely flat.

Each side has an airbase where all planes are to be staged out of airstrikes on these bases are permitted in the exercise

In that case can we also send a standard airbase protection brigade? (basically an ADA brigade)

The two divisions are normally attached to each other and function as one division in all but their seperate names. The MAV's are like very heavily armored IFV's. They can sustain rounds from most shoulder launched missile launchers and RPG's, but are destroyed by tank shells and heavy artilolery quite easily. They rely on speed to keep out of trouble, sacrificing armor in this regard.

Note that my Powered armor systems are highly vlunerable on the head, rear, and bottom of the feet (so a grenade to the feet will probably do signifigant damage.) Also, they are vlunerable to Explosives in general (the armor isn't hurt too much, but the guy inside isn't protected from the shock.) They are resistant to standard and Anti personell bullets, and partially resistant to Armor Piercing bullets. My tanks are just like your average tank, except they lack pilots. My Interceptors are especially vlunerable to ground based attacks, as they cannot return fire on ground targets.

IC: "Alright, I want 3 interceptors do a constant Combat Air Patrol over the Allied Airbase. The Subs and underwater warfare specialists are quite useless to us, so we can't do anything with them. Brigadier Fletcher was in command of the 1st Infantry Brigade Battle Group, he was intrusted with the defence of Hill 211 and he was determined not to lose it. Two battalions of troops formed in defensive positions around the base of the hill while the 3rd battalion of the Rangers regiment dug in around the sumit. Also deployed on the sumit where the 8 Avenger AA batteries A company of the 5th Air Defence Regiment where being placed. A tank squadron deployed into tank pits at the base of the hill to help protect the infantry against armour attack.

where shall i deploy my forces?

Yes deploy them in the woods infront of hill 211 my forces have engaged a strong recon force and although they have caught the enemy by surprise they are outnumbered and need support.

IC: All quiet on the western front

The Mekantan MAI-XC units stand huddled together, speaking rapidly in Mekantan. One breaks off from the group and pulls out a radio.

"This is the Mekantan force calling the Central Facehuggeria forces. We have noticed that you have suffered losses. We are prepared to send a detachment of our units to provide cover. Confirm yes or no."

Another breaks off from the group and points towards the hill. "All forces, move out. Keep all MAI-B units suppressing air support. If anything is up, we want it brought down."

Another commander steps behind him. "Confirmed. Their military lacks our efficiency."

"Confirmed. Send several detachments of MAI-S scout units. We need to know their strength and troop positions. Maintain watch for mines."

"Confirmed. Execute orders."


The Mekantan force splits into several squads, each with one of the massive "Behemoths" providing cover from air. The MAI-P units fan out in front of the MAI-X units, and the MAI-S units not sent on recon remain in front, waiting.

"Colonel, we just got word - a strong recon force of Facehuggerias was caught by surprise in the woods here." The Major points to a wooded section on the map.

"Interesting. Get Phoenix in the air, tell him to get good photos of the encampment. And get one of those Sentries up, we are gonna control the skies."

"Yes, sir." The Major picks up a radio and sends the order out. 4 minutes later Phoenix(a DD-1B Survailance Fighter) was in the air, and one of the Sentries was getting ready to launch.

(Little info on the DD-1. Its cruise speed above 80,000 feet is Mach 4.97, it's max speed being Mach 6.47. It is capable of sustaining Subsonic flight.)

"Major. Contact Colonel Niat and tell him to get the artillery set up, we wil have locations for him soon enough."

"Understood." The Major picks up the radio yet again and gets ahold of Colonel Niat.

"Colonel Niat? This is Major Hawthorne. Colonel Dobsky wants the artillery in place and ready, we will have coordinates for you to fire upon soon enough."

"Thank you, Major." The Colonel hung up, and started shouting out orders to his men. They quickly scrambled and dug in positions to set up the 30 towed Howitzers - while drivers got their self-propelled artillery units in place.

"Alright. Our plan seems to have run into a snag. The enemy isn't taking the bait!"
"So what do you want us to do, sir?"
"Send another 3,000 men to support the Colonel's force. Make sure you take five of the XT-2s and thirty of the Heavy Weapons troops. I don't want you to be caught by surprise like that."
"Colonel, I want you to gather your men and keep out of sight as much as possible until reinforcements arrive."

"We thank you Mekanta for your support, but we are moving to reinforce them ourselves."

Meanwhile;
"Alright men! Operation:Stinger is a go! Take the first infantry force (2000 men) and move out!

OOC: Operation:Stinger calls for the encirclement of CF's target hill, and then the subsequent conquest of that target.

"Colonel, Facehuggeria is going to take the hill."

"Very well, Major. Scramble the fighters, with concussion bomb loads. Knock the enemy soldiers on their asses."

"Yes, sir."

The fighter/bomber squadron scrambled into the air, with concussion bomb payloads ready to be launch upon the target - the hill.

The fighters roared towards their target, bomb bays opening and waiting for the order to initiate the strike.

"Omega Squadron. Initiate your attack run. I repeat, initiate your attack run." The Colonel put down the radio, and changed over to Colonol Niat.

"Colonel Niat. This is Colonel Dobsky, check your battlefield map, targets for artillery fire should be showing up now. Fire when ready."

"Understood, Colonel."

Colonel Niat called over his senior officers, gave out the locations of targets to be bombarded, and gave orders to fire upon those locations. 10 minutes later, all artillery units were aimed and ready.

"Fire."

"Move soldiers! Now is our chance to take the hill! Go, go, go!"
It was truly a wonderful sight, thousands of Central Facehuggerian troops all running at a single target- the hill. Once they got in range of the still somewhat dazed defenders, they opened fire with their laser weapons. Thousands of streaks of azure fire leapt from the CF lines headlong into the enemy ones. A smell of burning flesh permeated the air, charred and burned enemy bodies lay on the ground. Victims of the deadly accurate laser weapons.

Meanwhile in the forest;

"Yeah! Reinforcements! Am I glad to see you guys!"
"When is the earliest that you can have your men ready to blitz by?"
"One AM, local time, sir. Do you have any mine clearing grenades with you? We didn't bring any, we were supposed to wait in the forest until the rest of the army got into position, but the enemy was waiting for us. They had artillery, tanks, LAVs, and lots and lots of mines."

Warning systems on the Black Widows lit up. "Enemies know were here, speed up to Mach 3.7.. they won't even know what hit them."

The air defence site on top of 211 had a perfect view of the action and as the black widow began to do a roll turn they fired 4 missiles,

'Won't see that' commented the commanding officer

"Sir, we lost Omega-4. I Repeat, we lost Omega-4."

"Roger that, go to an altitude of 80,000 feet and increase speed to Mach 5.5"

OOC- Iwill assume you are attacking my positions on the hill.

WHUMP, WHUMP, the concussion bombs knocked out everything within a 100 yard radius for 10 mins enough time for the enemy infantry to get close enough to make artillery fire impossible. The only things not affected where 14 Challenger tanks which opened up on advancing armour,

The infantry came under heavy fire and suffered heavy casulties before they could return fire effectively, men started to fire the heavy M2 .50 brownings on top of Humvees these seemed to be the only weapons penerating the enemys armour. TOW missiles reached out into the enemys advancing vehicles and the steady Crump, Crump of mortar fire began indicating the brigades mortars where up and running again

But despite this Brigadier Fletcher could see that the enemy was to strong and untill he knocked out the enemy AA defences no air support was avaliable, also even worse no response came from the artillery regiment supporting them so no fire could be called down on advancing troops. He ordered the 3rd battalion ringed around the summit to be evacuated using the UH-60 blackhawks.

CF troops noted the evacuation of enemy forces from the hill, and opened fire with their SAMs and Gattling Lasers, in an attempt to down any fleeing enemy troops.
"Yes! The Hill is ours!"
"But sir, we still have to hold it! The enemy could counterattack at any time!"
"Get those engineers up here, deploy one third of the prefab turrets. Get a wing of interceptors (3) performing CAP over this hill!"

OOC: I'm going to be gone for much of the day, until later tonight.

The Mekantan forces begin to move out, but pause suddenly.

All of the MAI-X series units drop to their knees and look like they are starting to pray.

One MAI-XC gets up before the others, and nods. "We shall continue this exercise. The war against Neo-Mekanta does not need us yet. If we are needed, we shall be recalled."

Another also stands, and nods. "Confirmed. All units are to move out. Suppress all air units."

"Confirmed. Execute orders!"

With the precision only machines can attain, the Mekantan armies move out, every unit working at its best despite being transmitted news of Neo-Mekanta's attack on Central Facehuggeria...

The vacuation complete before CF forces surrounded the hill, a new defence line was set out infront of the twin peaks, on the left was the newly arrived 2nd Brigade and on the right the 3rd Brigade. The 1st brigade had drooped behind lines to reorganise.

In the evacuation 3 choppers had been badly damaged but managed to limp home, they will take no more part in this excersise,

I urge my allies to join the defensive line being set up infront of the two hills

'They won't get through us,sir' shouts one sgt to his Lt Colonel

Argyllian tanks open up on the advancing Mekanta troops, while artillery is called down on the positions forming a creeping barrage that keeps pace with their attack, the steady mortar fire its pock marking the battlefield as the Argyllian troops fight for the hills. LAW rockets weave out to meet the enemy and again for a second time in the excersise the .50's on top of Humvees chatter methodically in three round bursts

"Alright, we are going to launch a surprise attack from here at Hill 454. We are gonna swamp em. 4 Brigaes, here, here, here, and here are to take that hill. They will have full airsupport. Get ready to move out."

Colonel Niat walked over to the command center and radioed Colonel Dobsky.

"Colonel Dobsky, this is Niat. We preparing to launch a major attack on Hill 454. We need you to take out Argyllias artillery, are you capable of doing that?"

"Of course we can. You will have full airsupport as well."

"Thank you, Colonel." Niat hung up.

"Major, scramble the fighters - all of them, and get the Omega Squadron to take out Argyllias artillery. Send the Sabertooths and Infinities to watch over Colonel Niat's forces. Then, after artillery run is done.. cluster bomb The 7th Fleet's airbase. Destroy it. Make sure they are not detected."

"Understood Colonel."

One of the special alarms erected by Doujin forces called all air personnel to a meeting tent.

"Alright. We are preparing for a push on Hill 454. Theta Squadron, you are to escort Colonel Niat's ground forces and protect them from enemy fire. Same with you Delta Squadron. Omega Squadron, you are to take out Argyllia's artillery positions. Come in high, not low. After you launch, accelerate to a speed of Mach 3 and get up to 85,000 feet. Then, accelerate to Mach 6. You will be at their base in aproximatly 40 seconds after that. Decelerate to Mach 3 and dive down, release your payload, increase speed to Mach 4.2 to outrun any missiles, and get your asses out of there. Even if you are spotted, by time you got there they won't know what hit them. The DD-1B has found many of their AA emplacements, they are circled in yellow on this map. Be wary of those locations, take them out with guided missiles if you can. That's it. Good luck men. You have 15 minutes to get ready, and then it's time to fly."

The bulk of the Mekantan force starts to pull back, keeping a hellish storm of weapons fire on the enemy troops, as the MAI-S units scatter and run forward rapidly.

"MAI-P units, engage their Armor. Terminate all opposition."

11,000 deadly CF soldiers accompanied by armor support begin their journey to the front.

11 Black Widow's equiped with concussion and cluster bombs took off heading to Argyllia's artillery postitions, increasing altitude to 85,000 feet and speed to Mach 6. 35 seconds later, nearing the artillery area.

"Alright men, lets do this. Decrease speed, Mach 3, dive and release your payloads. Rememebr, get the hell out of there after, and back up to 85,000 ft and Mach 4.2 as soon as payloads released!"

A collective of "Rogers" came from the squadron listening to the squad leader.

The planes begun a steep dive at Mach 3, payload doors opening and preparing to drop their payload on Argyllia's artillery units.

The Argyllian line was streched to breaking point enemy units had broken points in the line and then been forced back, losses had been servere on both sides and even one of the legendary Challenger tanks (I love British tec too) had been knocked out. The Mekanta units where now lying up in positions 100 yards away, heavy fire rainined down on their positions.

The 12 F-14 Tomcats left the airbase and applied their afterburner straight away, they headed straight for the black widows over Argyllian artillery positions.

No hardpoints, and bomb bay doors aren't like those of say, the B-1B. They don't go down to open, they slide up and to the side. If they were on hardpoints, or if the closed down, they would be under enough stress to eventually rip off.. but on another note, the MiG-25 Foxbat goes at a max speed of Mach 3.2, so even at those speeds I can bomb things (w/ bombs on hardpoints)

Sorry, havn't finished the attack. You two can launch fighters all you want, but by time they are in the air it would be to late. Just wanted to also remind you guys, the DD-1 is a stealth craft too.. it isn't that easy to detect, on radar it should be about the size of an Eagle due to the radar-absorbing material used on the frame.

The Squadron droped their payloads on Argyllia's artillery positions, and immediatly raised up and jumped foreward to Mach 4.2 and accelerated, trying desperatly to get to the alitude of 80,000 feet; above the highest altitude for most if not all fighters.

Doesn't work like that, it takes time and money to develop projects like that, it took 12 years for the black widow, 8 for the infinity, and 11 for the sabertooth..

The attacks on the artillery position came as a complete supprise to the regimental commander, the stealth bombers poped over the ridgeline and dropped virtual ordanace on the positions, 21 out of 36 guns where knocked out and 230 men where killed or wounded, this was a devestating attack.

The CF Tanks began taking aim at the most dangerous targets first; the enemies' Challenger II tanks. Meanwhile, a wing of CF interceptors screeched overhead, intent on downing the enemy fighters harrassing their Doujin allies.

A collective unison of "Rogers" was heard. The planes cut back speed from Mach 4.2 to Mach .06. They released a flap, activated heat maskers, and started sending out radar waves to counter the ones being sent in. Effectively, on radar they are now the size of a bee.

7 CF XC-1 interceptors launched from the allied airbase, loaded for bear with more missiles than you could shake a stick at. They will clear the skies over the allied forces, or die a [simulated] death trying.

the Argyllian soldiers opened up with everything they had but the combined attack was streching the line dangerously thin, the strongpoints of the line, the Challenger tanks where being knocked out one by one as the enemy armour began to over whelm them.

Suddenly 8 AH-1W Super Cobras popped over the ridgeline and fired 4 Hellfire missiles at enemy armour each.

The elite 2nd Cav having just returned from their retreat through the woods launched a counter attack against the enemies advancing left flank led by their remaining 10 Challenger tanks and followed by 48 Bradleys they charged into enemy positions.

Avenger Humvees fired at the newly arrived Doujin Helos with all they had 32 missiles rippled out one by one at the Helos.

The Heavy weapons team that had been supporting that particular attack took aim with their missile launchers, aiming first at the tanks and then at the LAVs.

Twelve missiles, each self guided exploded from the HW team's launchers. High explosive Anti Tank packages of death for the hapless armor.

Three interceptors broke off from the main group, moving in to kill those annoying helicopters.

Meanwhile; amongst the Argyllian forces;
The hellifire missiles tore into several of the CF tanks. Two were destroyed as their internal ammo stores exploded. Another two suffered from damaged treads and had their speed reduced accordingly. The rest, however, only suffered superficial damage.
"Infantry! Move up!"
"Yes sir!"
The Infantry who were crouched and lying prone near the CF tanks, hiding from the helicopters which they couldn't down on their own (due to range, not damage issues) moved up. They began a charge on the enemy positions, hoping to shock the enemy for a few seconds, giving them time to aim and fire.
The tanks, meanwhile, were taking aim at the enemy forces. Targeting tanks and then other vehicles first.

Losses:
Infantry: 250 dead, 300 wounded
Aircraft: None yet (they haven't fought an AA capable enemy yet, however)

OOC: I may have missed this, but what is an SFVA? I know it is an attack aircraft of some sorts, but I would like to know wether it is optimized for aerial or ground attack. This may be my last post, tonight. I have to go to bed soon (in around 20 RL minutes.)

IC: "Get down! One of the men didn't make it down fast enough, and was shredded by the 25mm chainguns. The rest, however, did manage to lay prone. The smaller 7.62mm bullets richochated off their heavy armor, not providing enough damage to actually penetrate it, unless they managed to hit a weak area. The 25mm Chainguns (which I presume are mounted coaxially on the LAVs?) however, have a much easier time of penetrating the armor, if they can penetrate the small rock battlements that the men hid behind.

One of the HW guys tossed an assault grenade, nicknamed the 'tank killer' due to the potentcy of its contained explosives.

OOC:When it explodes, it sends out powerful shockwaves that shake up just about everything not inside the 20 foot kill radius. The only way the grenade can live up to its name, however, is if it is within 2 feet of the target tank.

IC: "Alpha wing, this is command. We think you may have some bogies on your tail. Keep an eye out...

Meanwhile; "Our men are pinned down by 7th fleet units here <the commander pointed to a holographic display in the CF command tent> our nearest team is here. If they can hijack a tank to cause even more confusion, tell them to do it."

Thanks for clearing up my confusion with the jet.
If a single 120mm round hit one of my armored troopers, they would be obliterated immediately, the trick is hitting a fast target with a slow moving turret. Since my HW team is currently holed up inside a barracade of rock, this shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, AP rounds only have partial effectiveness against my powered armor (similar to firing at a tank, the rounds will eventually get through, but it will take a while. Unless a weak point is hit, in which case, death is usually instant.)
5.56mm rounds wont do much damage at all. 7.62 mm rounds will start to wear away the protection, but it takes several thousand hits to do this. The armor can only withstand 20mm rounds for short periods of time.
Lastly; what is an ANTP munition? I've never heard of it.

The CF fighters broke formation and began targeting the enemy SFF-51s. "Sir! There is twelve of them to three of us!"
"Your point? Use the auto targeting computer to target your avalanches."

12 Avalanche Image Recognition missiles were launched at the opposing fighters. Each missile was packing a devestating Cobalt-Lithium warhead. And, with the IR processor in the missile, evasion was dropped to .0009% The only way to evade the missile is either A: Fly near another jet like yours and hope it locks onto him instead of you. or B: Outrun/Outmanouver the missile (they have computer adjusted rudders, so that won't be easy.)

Unfourtnately, in the time it took to launch those missiles, the enemy fighters had time to get in range and open up with their 20mm guns and short range missiles. One interceptor was torn up by the shells. However, some of the short ranged missiles were jammed by the XC-1's sophisticated ECM system. Howver, even the best ECM is vlunerable to the lucky shot, which claimed another shot. The rest were evaded by the last interceptor with a combo of good flying and deployed chaff. (OOC:My Point defense lasers were left at home to give you non-future tech guys a chance. :wink: Even though you don't really need it, as my pilots aren't very good)

IC: The remaining plane of alpha flared its Pulse Detonation Engines and accelerated to mach 3.3 (Their max speed.) He fled back to the allied airfield.

IC2: "Take cover!"
20mm shells ripped through one member of the trapped HW team. He obviously couldn't duck fast enough
"Sir! We are getting slaughtered here! Wait... Oh no, those are Apaches I hear!"
"Gamma Wing, this is HW team delta, we request air cover, some apaches have us pinned down!"

A 155mm shell bursted overhead (I presume that your ANTP rouunds do an airburst then saturate the ground with smaller munitions?)
High explosives rained down on the covering HW Team. This killed an additional two people, leaving two remaining.

The Elite team, meanwhile sneaked up behind the unsuspecting tanks, preparing to sow utter chaos in the enemy lines...

Meanwhile, in the battle with Argyllian forces;
"Sir! our men are starting to get attacked by those dammned ground attack aircraft!"
"Aren't they covered by the tanks?"
"No sir."
"Well, make them cover the infantry!"
"Yes sir!"

"And get another wing of interceptors covering the tanks!"
"But, sir, we won't have any in reserve if we do that!"

"Fire in the hole!!" A CF infantryman tossed an AP (anti-personell, aka frag) grenade over into the Argyllian lines. Meanwhile, the remaining Automated tanks targeted the Challenger tanks with their twin 120mm (with each cannon firing a heavy depleted uranium shell) cannons. Nothing could really stand that kind of fire power for any legnth of time.
"Sniper! Take out those infantry!"
An CF elite sniper set up and began taking out infantry at will...

"#### Halt Fall back, Dig in a Perimiter we have to stick it out!!!!!!!!!!" *the Turret of one of the Challenger II tanks Swivvled around to face the rear as well as 4 LAV's* "Sir the Reinforcments Are Fighting with the Enemy forces behind us!" *The 20 some odd LAV's and Challenger II Tanks opened fire with 25MM Chainguns, 7.62MM Chainguns and the infantry Got out of the LAV's to Fight the Enemy*

IC: *The 77th Squadron headed back to base to be Refueled and rearmed while the 1st Squadron Replaced them(12 SFF-53's), the 99th attack helo squadron showered the enemy with 18IN Rockets and Hellfire missiles as well as 20MM Rounds*

Meanwhile "Artillery, The Minefeild is complete switch back to HE Rounds and those rounds with the Bomblets!"

OOC: Quantum thingy? I have no quantum weapons, and most assuredly won't use nukes (simulated or otherwise) unless there is really no other option in a normal war. Since this is a simu-war, which I don't really mind losing, CF nuclear weapons are out.

Wait, you mean my cobalt-lithium warheads? Those are non-nuclear. They are still very powerful though. No aircraft that gets hit with one is going to survive.

The remaining three XC-1 interceptors that weren't already in the air engaged their PDEs and moved to intercept those bombers at flank speed.

"Alright, everyone hide in the bushes. Lets hope they don't find us. Once they turn their backs, we'll move in."

Meanwhile somewhere else;
"Take out those tanks!"

The CF Tanks began bombarding the enemy tanks with their extremely potent weapons. The battle was shifting once again into bravo team's favor, but that could change at any moment...
"Alright men! Lets move up!"
One hundred CF infantry advanced, running headlong into the minefield...
"SHI****..."
"Mines!"
"Who got hit?"
"Stay calm everyone! we only lost twelve squaddies. While this is bad, it isn't too bad. Now, everyone back up the way you came. Get a hw team to bombard that area with their mortars."

A nearby HW team (Zeta) opened up on the field with their mortars, clearing the majority of it.
"Now lets move up again! Look out for bumps in the ground this time!"

The CF infantry charged once again, hoping to seize the initiave.
"HW team zeta, launch smokers to cover the infantry's advance.

Losses: 12 infantry + 8 due to helicopters. I'll post more later.

God dern server troubles!

OOC- Well, defending team,( I think it's alpha?) I'm finally here. Any coordinated strategy would be nice.

IC- "Transmit the positions back to base. We've got an infantry assault advancing towards a minefield. They are hostile." The recon MAV's hurridly transmitted their information back to the artillery. "Fire at position-"

"-Alpha Delta 14" The coordinates sounded through the radio. "All right!" screamed a colonel in charge of the artillery. "All guns- Targeting mark 7. Missiles, mark3. On my signal. Fire!"

As the recon units sped away, they saw a huge cloud of debris and dirt billowing up in a massive explosion. "Holy s--t!" screamed one of the drivers as he twisted to get a better view.

The helicopter pilots also saw the inferno. "Roger that. We're beginning our approach to hill 211." The pilot changed frequencies.
"Allied forces, it looks like you're in need of some reinforcements. We'll be landing in 12 minutes, we're only about 2 klicks away. Make sure we're marked as friendlies. Red chopper out."

Meanwhile, the armored column began to move. Half of the SAM launchers came with them, as well as three quarters of the infantry and about half of the choppers. Since the SAM launchers needed time to set up, the entire air wing flew air support overhead.

"Sir!" saluted a lieutenant.
"At ease soldier." barked General Carville. "What's your news?"
"Sir, we're about 7 klicks out. ETA to hill 211 is about 20 minutes."
The general smiled. "Excellent. As soon as we get there, I want tactical analysis of the odds of a successful attack on enemy forces."
The lieutenant saluted and strode out of the tent.
They won't know what hit them. They won't know what hit them...."

While in the Air "this is the SFVA-3 Squadron Enemy aircraft inbound! 1st squadron we need help!" "Roger First Squadron headed to cover you, Time to intercept 60 seconds at maximum speed" *The 12 SFF-53's Bumped it up to top speed and headed to the aid of the SFVA-3's, While the Attack Helo's used hit and Run Tactics to Reak Havon on enemy tanks*

Over strectched Argyllian forces conduct a fighting withdrawl towards the newly finished lines next to the 7th Fleets troops, a artillery bombardment preceded the withdrawl and smoke generators from vehicles completed the evacuation safeguards. The new lines where a series of strongpoints mutually supporting each other with tank pits along the length of the line.

UHF Message from 7th fleet HQ to Argyllian Command "Make it a slow retreat lets make them pay for every inch of ground!"


*The 7th fleet 1st and 77th squadron loaded with a mix of bombs and ATA Missiles as well as ATG Missiles Proceed to Bombard all the CF Forces as they Presue the Retreating Argyllians, While the SFVA-3 Squadron Bombs into submission and infantry that show themselves, and fire Mavric Missiles at any tanks that pop out, The Attack Helo Squadron also Wreaping havoc on any enemy armor that shows it self* *the ground forces Prviding Covering fire for its allies that are falling back*

OOC: My Cobalt Lithium warheads are non nuclear. They produce heavy damage, but no radiation. But, yes, traditionally in SciFi, cobalt-lithium warheads are usually more powerful than nukes. Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't had much time lately.

"Get down! Missiles are incoming!"
Several CF troopers were killed from being too close to the missiles' detonations.
The tanks, however, were quite prepared for the missile attack. They activated their overdrive, accelerating the 90ton behemoths ahead at a speed that few could imagine such a large machine going at. (OOC: They went from a 40MPH top speed to an 80MPH top speed. The only disadvantage of these overdrive units is that they can only go that fast for about a minute before they burn out their enigne.)

They evaded most of the missiles fired at them, and only took a few minor hits from the ones they couldn't avoid.

In a minute, they had come to a complete stop, aiming their cannons at enemy tanks, their Avalanche SAMs scanning the air for enemy targets again.

The Troopers, recieving word that the aerial threat had lifted, got up and charged again, this time firing as they were running. Bullets pinged and ricocheted off their potent armor, but they still advanced.

"HW teams, advance and take out those tanks! Tanks, focus on the tanks as well! I want those tanks gone! Infantry, focus on any heavy gun emplacements, like machinegun nests. Don't worry about the tanks, our other forces will handle them. Beta wing, move to cover the advance, make sure not a single bomber gets through!!"

The missiles landed with devastating effect, they destroyed 6 bunkers and blew 6 Challenger tanks over. With these missiles the Argyllian line crumbled and the troops where routed leaveing the CF troops surrounding the 7th Fleets troops.

Basically the excersise is over with Team Bravo taking all the hills as the 7th Fleets position is verging on disaster and the Argyllian troops are defeated.

The troops stood silently as the commander made his speech, the full impact of his words sinking in...

"Thank you for allowing us to participate in this war game. The experience our troops have gained will no doubt be a great asset."

... And all of the Mekantan forces realized they were passed out drunk throughout the entire goddamn battle...

With that, the Samtonian forces withdrew and returned home, only the artillery having gotten any real practice at all.
