OOC Finance Question
I have been playing this game for a while now, but I haven't RP'd. I have started looking into it, and I can't figure out how much money my country generates. My economy is all consuming, I have no tax rate, and I have a population of 293 million. Any help would be apprieciated.
Income tax is only one method of a goverments income. There are petrol taxes, GST (or VAT), rates, etc.
As a rule of thumb, I generally say that each of my citizens generates me around 20000 per year. I have no idea how accurate this is though.
Another question, how exactly does the timeline go? I mean, how long is a year? Any other things you can think of to help out a n00b in the RP would be of great assistance.
Most people regard 1 year NS as one RL day. There are those that are really into RP and say that 1 NS year is 1 RL week. Personally, I go that 1 RL day is 1 NS year, because my population rises every year and I know damn well that you don't do a census every month or two :P
