The SETI program stopped receiving funds because of no progress in the experiment, but generous corporations and investors helped make the 5.75 million chromium bill($11.5 US) project possible. The space program is almost complete as well. In half a year we are planning to launch a satellite that will circle around venus and take photographs. It may be possible in a few years for us to launch a manned craft to Earth's moon.
