(PICS) Mekantan AI Units for Sale - Custom Jobs Accepted

Mekanta
31-12-2003, 05:18
--ALL AI technologies here are sold and produced exclusively by the Holy Empire of Mekanta.--

(Modern Tech, believe it or not. We just have more advanced computer technology at the cost of... well... just about everything else until we research it.)

Whatever your need, Mekanta can provide a suitable AI program. We also have many pre-designed units, and anyone who assists in their production will be given their fair share of units.

-MILITARY-
The brutal efficency and power of our military units is unsurpassed. Our research division works around the clock to optimize the power of the Mekantan military, and this raw power can be yours, too! You just have to lend a hand building your new killing machines.

PREDESIGNED UNITS

MAI-S
These small weapons can move at high speed over terrain, and harass infantry with their nose-mounted guns. Their smaller brains give them less effective targetting AIs, but still possessing deadly accuracy, and their maneuvering and speed make them difficult to hit.

$5000 Per MAI-S

MAI-X
MAI-XC (Commander) Variant Available
A general-purpose humanoid robot designed with handling human weaponry in mind. These fighting machines are more durable than human warriors, more efficent, and highly dangerous in hand-to-hand combat. Their aim is almost perfect, even under fire, and can outsnipe even the best human snipers. Their tactical ability is slightly above that of the average human soldier, and can out-think their human "equivalents" easily. They need no sleep, or food, and they can operate anything a human can. You must provide all firepower.

The Commander Variant has a much more advanced neural core, and boosts the tactical effectiveness of a unit of MAI-X soldiers. Few human field commanders can out-think these machines.

$7,000 USD per MAI-X
$9,500 USD per MAI-XC

More pre-made units shall be released when Mekantan R&D says to.

"Hmm..."

"15 million, USD."

"Give us access to production facilities so as to create our units and we shall charge you 7 million dollars to develop the AI and impliment it into your designs."
Mekanta
31-12-2003, 05:45
(Actually, it's AIs selling these AIs. The Human population of Mekanta really doesn't give a damn either way. If there were enough people, they'd be selling human slaves too. Only the humans won't be going willingly.)
31-12-2003, 05:45
To costly to entrust a young nation... infact im sure my A.I is better developed then yours... never mind about this transaction
Mekanta

"Illogical. It is impossible for a mere HUMAN nation to truely understand the intricacies of AI. No AI made by a human can can have the soul that the Mekanta have. No. Make your toys. May Machina-sama forgive you."

Two MAI-X robots come up behind the sales machine. "Your orders were clear. No Mekantan religious references."

The sales machine makes a sighing sound. "Oh alright..."

MAI-B
MAI-BMD (Mass Driver) variant is unavailable
MAI-BL (Laser) variant is unavailable

The "Behemoth" is the largest unit the Holy Empire of Mekanta has produced. The religious among Mekantan officials claim the design was passed down from their god, Machina-sama, but many pass it off as hot air.

The standard Behemoth wields four heavy machine guns capable of piercing armor, with a substancial amount of ammunition carried inside. It's targetting ability is nearly flawless at medium to distant range, but up close its only defence is to stomp its enemies. This tactic, however, is only effective against infantry and smaller vehicles.

The MAI-BMD and MAI-BL are still in development.

$5,000,000 per MAI-B (ASSISTANCE REQUIRED)

Mekantan R&D is happy to announce that the MAI-BMD has been released.

This varient of the MAI-B possesses four mass drivers (aka Railguns) instead of the chainguns. They excel at long-range attacks, making them effective artillery units. They possess air-targetting abilities, and are more than capable of taking out air units.

Current price is $8,500,000 USD per MAI-BMD.

How adaptable is the AI on the MAI-X? Can it accept new functionalities? (plug and play basicly, can I plug in a built in flamethrower and have the AI recognize it?)
Mekanta
01-01-2004, 05:47
"Of course. Simply tell the MAI-X how to operate the weapon and it will adapt. It may be advisable to give it a moment or so on a testing range so that it will learn the 'ins and outs' of the weapon. Alternately, just give it the weapon, put it on the testing field, and let it learn for itself."

"You need only to do this with one, as it will directly share the information with its comrades who are issued similar weapons."

"To give it built-in capabilities is slightly more difficult, but the MAI-X and MAI-XC should not have too much trouble. However, we will look into the possibility of an even more elite MAI-X unit."

The AI silently calls over a MAI-S.

"Inform R&D to devote more effort to the MAI-XE and MAI-XDS variants."

"The MAI-X should be able to cope, but please contact us if it does not do so well enough."

Well, in that case Central Facehuggeria will take two hundred for testing purposes. We have one request however, if possible could we get them with a smooth torso? The display version seems rather... Ornamental.

Depending on performance, we may purchase more.

"Of course. Is there a specific color scheme?"

Something in Mekantan is yelled off screen.

"Correction... Is there a specific color scheme other than pink or purple?"

"If so, they can be colored en-route. Units dispatched. On a related note, are there any officials interested in visiting Mekanta?"

We have just one more question, is there a Pacification bot in development for police duty?

OOC: If I remember correctly, those electrical stun guns would be perfect for police work. :)

(Oh I'm planning on making the pacification bot a bit stronger than that...)

We'll donate 1 billion USD to speed up the development of a pac bot that uses a modular weapon system (so it could use stun guns or miniguns or whatever.)

"A very generous donation. This shall expediate production of the MAI-P, MAI-PM, MAI-PAA, and MAI-PX."

"The new MAI-P assault AI series has been completed, and the first wave is finishing production."

MAI-P
MAI-PM (Modular) variant available
MAI-PAA (Amphibious Assault) variant available
MAI-PX (Advanced) variant available
MAI-DS (DarkStalker) variant available

A highly adaptable unit, the MAI-P series is designed for flexibility. While not as adaptable as the MAI-X, the MAI-P is just as at home when laying waste to infantry as scrapping armor. As with all Mekantan units, it's aim is flawless and it's efficiency is devestating to its enemies.

The MAI-P is equipped with four nose-mounted machine guns and an armor-piercing anti-tank gun directly below. Reloading is easy. Simply provide the MAI-P with boxes of ammunition and it does it all itself. The MAI-P will happily tell you the specifications.

The MAI-PM is a modual-based design that can equip various weapon types. Currently, Mekantan R&D has these types released.
Rocket Launcher - $1000 USD
Autogun - $700 USD
Stungun - $200 USD
Mass Driver - $2500 USD

The MAI-PAA is capable of underwater operation, and is useful for assaulting underwater facilities, or taking out coastal units.

The MAI-PX is a more elite version of the standard MAI-P. It's much more mobile, and in tests has been shown to be able to run circles around a force of tanks.

The MAI-PDS is the pride of Mekantan R&D. Equipped with an active-camoflague system and the ability to mask its thermal image through a highly advanced cooling system, the MAI-PDS can slip inside a military installation and cause havoc that can cripple the base's operations.

Prices are as follows...
$40,000 USD per MAI-P
$39,500 USD per MAI-PM
$55,000 USD per MAI-PAA
$65,500 USD per MAI-PX
$170,000 USD per MAI-PDS
