"After a recent attempt at military absorption of Ninjao by the Dominion of Riso, the Ninjao government has decided to raise defenses of the entire region. Engineers from P4lladia have tripled efforts to finish the force field expected to protect the nations of Ninjao, and coastal patrols have also been strengthened. More defensive missiles have been sent into the atmosphere via satellite, and space cannons are expected to launch tomorrow.
The leaders of Joshu and P4lladia have relocated to the Citadel, located in the center of the dormant (and only) volcano on the island. The Citadel is the main place of worship for the many religions of Ninjao. Aerial patrols have also been implemented, not only for the capitals but for the entire nation, and its surrounding sea territory.
The final portion of Ninjao's raised defense involves temporary increased funding for the military, and the troops have been assembled to be ready for conflict at any time.

In other news, the Armed Republic of Charvis has made history in becoming the first nation to join the region of Ninjao! The request was finalized around 8:30pm on December 29th, 2003. The Armed Republic of Charvis is a small, relatively peaceful nation who has joined Ninjao for protection from larger nations, and for economic growth. Charvis is a nation with a somewhat high crime rate, despite attempts by the benevolent dictator (also named Charvis) to quell such sprees. The region of Ninjao agreed to the addition of the Armed Republic due to Charvis' high amount of Uranium Mining, which would be a crucial addition to the defensive military of Ninjao."
