Members of the NRBC police force responded to gunfire and explosions in downtown Kase this morning. The shooting began at 0830 just as visitors were filling into the marketplace. The terrorists began shooting and throwing grenades everywhere. The police responded and cordoned the terrorists off in a building, in a gunfight that lasted 3 hours. In the end, 4 NRBC police were dead and 8 terrorists, in addition to 17 citizens. NRBC is asking for military aid in a war that will be waged on a local terrorist hot spot in the desert.
