Today is a great day for Cronoeria, as we have managed to put a prototype for an orbital spy satellite just outside the upper atmospheres. It will spend several days orbiting the planet, at which point it will fall into the atlantic ocean to be retrieved for data by Cronoerian scientists. This is just the first stage of the development of Cronoerian Orbital Weaponry, a project that has seen a great deal of interest from the upper echelon of Cronoeria's military branch. While possessing a sizable ground force and an advanced airforce, a limited navy has effectively reduced Cronoeria's military strike potential to costly land invasions or generally disliked BlackOps programs. An orbital weaponry system would provide Cronoeria with the strike radius it would need to become a world power, and already almost 25% of Cronoeria's defense budget has been shunted to the research and development.
In related news, Cronoeria switched to the more standard "Dollar" as its currency. The scalps of Unicronian citizens were becoming harder to come by, seeing as Cronoeria moved to an entirely different region, and were seen by many as barbaric. The change to a standardized currency should ease matters in foreign trade and collaberation between nations.
In addition, any nation wishing for a stake in the orbital weapons program may inquire here or via private messages. Nations with excellent scientific capabilites would be especially prized, and a technology-sharing agreement could surely be reached.
