Rotara is now hostile to all Imperialist countrys. With the sudden attack of the Phoenix Army Rotara has seen that a Imperialist army like the one of Phoenix could put the Goverment out of power.
Today troops marched infront of their Leader and their people in a parade in Astra the Nations Capital city. 20 T-72 tanks are waiting at the boarder another Million foot soldiers are there with them.
All Rotara can do now is wait for a country to attack.
For a nation of 5 million your army is exceptionally large...are you sure you are not god moding????

Actually, no, this would just waste precious fuel. Don't ask to be attacked, because sooner or later a nation my size and larger will come and crush you.

Rotara, remember your army shouldn't be more than 5% of your total population, ideally though, 2-3%.
My army is made up of 3 Million people. Every adult goes for part time Military training so when the time comes they will be able to pick up their AK-47 and defend the nation.
The urge to invade is overwhelming, but there are really more profitable things for any self-respecting nation to put itself upon.

I use 2% rule, and I have a pretty big ground force (but in retrospect, my navy sucks). I'm REALLY tempted to take you out... if only another conflict wasn't happening now.

No, in some African tribes every man is a trained soldier. My nation is a very militaristic one as they come, and I'd never come near that percentage for a fighting force.
His troops are withdrawn, and hopefully he's decided to step down from the spotlight for awhile and wisen up. I think an invasion would be pointless and uneconomical at this point.

In some countries, yes, every man is a trained soldier, but be realistic. Your population is 5 million and you say 3 million is your army size? Unless you have child soldiers that makes 60% of your population adult men - all who you very confidently assume would just follow you into a war against any nation who said boo!

Rotara: Okay but probably be best to keep a post like that to your region boards or maybe not post at all. If SR posted every time our troops marched half the board would be flooded with posts saying "SR's troops prepared for war. Again. Yay." Anyway, best of luck.

No Thankyou. Very well I will be realistic and I will reduce my army size to 2, Million Men and Woman.
You know i've been thinking, with a nation of 5 million and an army of 3 million - surely they have to have child fighters which is a breack of human rights - I think some diplomatic action is neccessary.
Rotara - You are a tiny nation and I understand your nerves, however a former Australian Opposition leader Bill Hayden once said, "In foreign Affairs, words are like bullets" - think about that one...
Fine ill have a army of 200,000.
