What if I don't really agree with:

Sometimes, war is the only solution. Violence does solve somethings. Though it shouldn't be your first choice, sometimes the only way to end a conflict is to shoot some people.

If you can't talk them down then war is most likly the only answer.

BTW ya'll, what actually happens to the LOSER of the war? Does he have to give up the password to his country or something? I see some places about trials and stuff but I never see any wars get finished.

No, the loser doesn't have to give up his password... usually when a nation invades to conquer, they lose.

What if I don't really agree with:

War DOES solve things. In fact, war is easily the biggest solver of things over the centuries.

War solved German Agression the first time. Diplomacy screwed it up.

War solved German Agression the Second time. We haven't had to worry since then.

War solved Japanese agression. Now we have Anime, ^_^

Ok... it's not so bad, we use diplomacy with a big stick, if they annoy us and they do something against someone in a way we don't like, we threaten action that would be too big for them to handle, thus showing that we mean business... if I'm bored I may use a small force and RP the battle, but otherwise I just stop the thread their and then with a force few people can counter.

We must keep our culture, and not let ourselves be pulled into the American trap.

WHOA! We've gone from talking about whether war was a solution to this!

Speaking of the colonial wars, the American forces only beat 1/12th of the British Army - the rest were in Spain. Also, it took the considerable help of the French to beat the British. Plus we had an idiot on the throne who didn't know when to send reinforcements. The professional French navy and regulars was the deciding factor that won the war for the Americans. British regular land forces and its navy could easily wipe the floor with any country in that century, except for France - but we got there in the end. Damn the Atlantic Ocean, you guys were just too far away.
At least when you invaded Canada our redcoats gave the American troops a complete massacre, why oh why did you want Canada?!? Funny how thats in none of your history books...

Okay guys, be tolerable...

I find that the threat of war is often a solution in itself, I also feel that anyone who claims that war is not going to solve anything is an idiot... war solves lots of things providing you use it properly.

So far I have not had to resort to war due to my careful thinking (backing down when it's not worth it or making others back down through sheer military prowess) but I reckon that some day in the future I will no doubt be pulled into something big by my allies. Whether those battles will solve anything I'm unsure, when organisations fight it means lots of casualities and often no solution other then "lets not do this again for a while huh?"

Humankind needs war, it always resorts to it because we are a naturaly violent race. We always fall back upon war because it does solve thigns, if gone about the proper way. We find amny uses for war, including solving our boredom. War is glorious when it is honorable. It is when it is mindless slaughter that it is horrible, besides it helps the economy.
