Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Wanted...

28-12-2003, 22:58
The republic of Kazaakisthan would like to purchase ICBM's. We do not want nuclear warheads as we do not beleive in nuclear weapons. But we would appreciate if nations could supply us with warheads which do the same or near the same blast raidus and power.

Please post links too or snippets of ICBM's you sell. We also need a permanent launcher.

Hmm. We have a fair-sized amraments industry. I suppose we could try to provide...how many are you looking for?
Note: Warhead options include Nuclear (which you obviously don't want), Chemical or Biological.
Options:

SS-18 Mods 4 and 6 - http://fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/icbm/r-36m.htm
SS-19 Mods 1 and 2 - http://fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/icbm/ur-100n.htm

Note that the quantity manufacture of these missiles is difficult and expensive. The SS-18s (especially Mod. 6) are in very short supply and carry a price tag of around $70-100m.

Other less advanced available rockets:

SS-11 - http://fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/icbm/rt-2.htm
SS-17 Mods 1 and 2 - http://fas.org/nuke/guide/russia/icbm/ur-100mr.htm

These are cheaper and can be made in larger quantities. As previously stated, however, we need to know how many are expected.

We want a conventional warhead, but one which will have the same blast radius as a nuclear missile but will not leave the same radiation.

Zulu Warrior Rocketry (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=81544&highlight=), subsidiary of African Defense Industries has what you need.

We suggest you obtain the Black Titan Intercontinental ballistic munition, tipped with a 3.75 megaton neutron warhead. It will destroy as much as a nuclear warhead of the same size, but all radiation will disappear relatively quickly after detonation.

Regards!
Zulu Warrior Rocketry.

We can tip them with FAE or "Clean" weapon warheads if that is your wish. Radiation yield minimal, explosive yield approx. equal to that of the "regular" warheads, minus say 40kt. Not too much difference on a 10Mt MIRV eh?
