Since the unprovoked and dastardly attack last night by the naval forces of Lapse upon Benicius a state of war has existed between the Clepsydra region and the Hypocritical state of Lapse.

Elizabethshire declares Neutrality.....for now. The Armed Republic is sending The Foriegn Reaction Fleet and A small land force to monitor the war.

Wengard would advise against declaring war against the Hypocritical States of Lapse, as their military and economy well outstrip your entire region combined.

I say we give peace a chance. if Lapse and you want to talk it over, The Armed Republic of Corneliu can be the place to discuss peace.
I take the advice of fellow nations. Since my last post I have handed down an ultimatum to the state of Lapse. We have demanded compensation for the loss of two destroyers. If Lapse hands over $5 billion within the next 48 hours the collective forces of my region will stand down.

Lapse's forces overran several outposts of Benicius this afternoon. The losses have been horrendous. A total of 5,000 people were lost when Lapsan long range bombers hit the southern port of Germanicus. Retaliation was swift, Benician naval forces were deployed and beat off Lapses' one aircraft carrier and two frigates. No ships were lost on either side. The Confederacy has officially declared a truce on its part and will take no offensive measures against Lapse but will defend if necessary. Request that peace keeping forces be kept in region until further notice.

Man lapse and all countries on the offensive need to back down and stop this before the countries who have been around longer enter this conflict and solve it with their might & take some land from each country while thier at it.

OOC: A note, to Benicius and others...unless Lapse RP's its actions, none have occurred. Benicius can neither claim that Lapse has attacked Benicius nor that Lapse has deployed any forces unless Lapse has posted so or agreed to allow Benicius to do so. So far, I've only seen Benicius claiming attacks and losses for both sides.

The Hypocritical state of Lapse agreed to a truce 1 day ago with the Confederacy of Benicius. However, complete neutrality has been established as the Dictatorship of Benicius replaced the Confederacy overnight.
Diplomatic realtions are presently being restored between both nation states.
