Eric Ledger's execution method?

Colerica

The United Empire of Colerica is inquiring other nations as to what their opinions are of what terrorist leader Eric Ledger's method of execution should be. Since his death sentence at his military tribunal, there has been some heated debate amongst the Magistrates of Colerica as to how he should die. As Magistrate of Justice, I ultimaty get to decide how he is executed, but I wish to know what other nations believe.

What has this man done to deserve such treatment? What is his terrorist group attempting to do?

Eric Ledger was the leader of the Global Liberation Army's cell operating out of Colerica. The GLA operatives in Colerica made an attempt to kill the Emperor, successfully assassinated former Magistrate of Justice Jonathon Ridge, bombing two government buildings, bombed a bank in Zachara, (our capital), which killed 11 civillians, and open fired on civillians and government officials in 5 different drive-by shooting situations. Ledger cooridnated their missions and efforts, and admits to being guilty of trying to perform a coup de' tat on the United Empire. Ledger deserves to die.

To overthrow our government. The GLA is nothing but a militant group of anarchist-terrorists. They target any government that they don't agree with and use any means to terrorize its citizens...

Doujinshi dislikes state sanctioned murder, which basically execution is. But, if you must go through with this - at least be humane. Two wrong doings don't make something right.

Stupidest thing of the day.

Actually, life imprisonment would be more cruel than death. Death ends it all. Death should be considered less serious that life in jail.

So yes, lots of people deserve to die. The question is, who gets to decide who does?

How more cruel, at least they are alive. After you die, you die. That's it. There is no more.

Naturally The Armed Republic of Elizabethshire supports Capital Punishment, after all, We regularly shoot people for entertainment. But a Terrorist deserves a terrorist's death. DRAW AND QUARTER HIM!!!

You answer me this.

What's better? Solitary confinement, living the rest of your days alone with no one but yourself. Doomed to stare at blank walls thinking about what you've done. No sex, no loved ones, no fun, just you and a blank room.

Or death, getting to move on to something better, or atleast getting to move on from something painful.

Just because you are alive does not mean you are better off. Stop thinking that death is a bad thing. Death is just the next step.

You answer me this.

How do you know death is just "the next step"? As far as I'm concerned, after you die your done - just like any other animal. You die, your body decomposes, thats all - nothing more.

Ok, so I love your choice. Death, which is an unknown, or knowing that you'll be alive for many more years where all you get is to suffer and be alone. Wow, I love the outlook there, chief.

And in the case of religion, you murder someone or something supposedly you go to "Hell" which is an eternity of suffering and damnation, so why would you want to die and go to an even worse punishment?

The likes of the dishnonourable representative for Juko are clearly speaking from an immature stand-point based on ill-considered one-upmanship, "my method hurts more than yours!"

Sadly for said representative the truth is that making the unfortunate subject suffer is a complete tangent from anything progressive or relevant to this situation.

As for who decides which of us live and die? Presently the standard that our friend appears to support is one of might over right. Perhaps Juko should like to see what happens when its standards are applied on an international level? "The People's Army objects to Juko morality and has decided..."

We condemn the death penalty.
28-12-2003, 23:44
We are against this, but if you must kill him at least do it humanely with a lethal injection.

Also how do you know that when he dies its all over it might be somewhere great where he can torment you forever (not that I beleive anything after death.)
28-12-2003, 23:46
you should torture him to death
