Engineers have been working day and night to modify a SCUD missile that will allow it to use a very old type of Nuclear weapon. The missile was mounted ontop of a built launch pad that was constructed to fit the type of missile.

A car was placed at the soon to be ground zero(point just above nuclear explosion). Another car was placed some feet away to see what would happen if hit by the shock wave. When the SCUD was fired it went off into the air and flew to its target.

A while after detonation scientists wearing hazard proof suits investigated the debris the car at ground zero was no longer there it had been vaporised. The car that would be hit by the shock wave was found lying upside down at some other location, it had been heavily damaged by the shockwave then thrown by it to another location.

A number of the SCUD missiles donated by Hattia have been modifyed to fit this design.

Nukes serve no purpose, other than to assure mutual destruction between you and your nuke-wielding foe. All it says is "If you nuke me, I nuke you."

If anything, set up a defense system that says "Heck, just TRY to nuke me... *cackles*"

Agreed, nukes are an waste of time, resources and most of all, money that can be placed into social welfare and improving the lives of your people. We do have an Missile defence sattelite system, however. But we maintain an peaceful existance:

Truthfully I don't know how it is good RPing for ANYONE to have nukes :) I'd sooner ignore someone than get carpet nuked.

If you want. Little too early for cities if you ask me, but you might think of subdividing it later. You might even think of getting the topography team to draw a map. And then decide what you want to do with it, tourism or whatever, depends on what you have there.

It is considered godmodding for a nation with 6 million people to have nuclear weapons because your nation can not possilbly afford such an program. To have the finacial strengh to fund an program, the standard prerequisite is 150 million in population. Once you have achived that population, you may build WMDs. Saying things like "they were given to us" or "we found them disregarded in our land" and "aliens gave us the weapons" are not valid because it is an unlikely scenario and your nation does not have the monitary strengh to maintain such an arsenal.

Countries having nukes is frowned upon until you hit about 250 Million and just because you have uranium does not mean you have 'weapons grade' uranium. It is very expensive and hard to refine uranium into 'weapons grade', if it was as easy as just putting uranium in the bomb a lot more nations would have nukes in real life, as it is only a few nations can afford an arsenal.

Your population will increase everyday naturally. At first, it will be 1 million a day, but soon enough, it will increase quickly, everyday. My population increases 6 million an day.

And yes, you may build and sell other things than WMDs. First, build small things, food items, building supplies, maybe small firearms. Once you gain a little larger population, build assult rifles, more advanced weaponry and other civilan vehicles. Once your nation is above 150 million, you can build WMDs, war planes and other vehicles. My nation, for example, got it's start from making and selling chocolate, now with an population of 506 million, my nation builds and sells warplanes.

You two should fight a war over who's more peaceful. :lol:

I would absolutely love to go to war with TEB. My forces are already in his country pillaging the countryside and shooting people in the head. This is the Aztec National League speaking and nobody else.* We want war!

Yes having nukes as a young country is impossible. Im still a new country, we make our money by selling uranuim and small weapons. Though we plan on expanding to much larger weaponry here in the future & hopefully nuclear weaponry if we get the chance.

I've gone four months without nukes. (However that might change soon :wink: )

You don't need nukes, and you certainly can't have then until you are atleast one to two months old.

Nukes just make everyone itchy. Lay off the nukes. Use the uranium for something less harmful. Ever heard of a Nuclear Power Plant?

Hm... Iuthia doesn't have nuclear weapons because we don't agree with their use, we have set up a system which can stop most ICBM lauched nuclear weapons as well as bomb launched nulear weapons thanks to the NAFDA system set up by Mega Tau.

Nuclear weapons will never be used against you, so don't bother with them, if someone threatens their use against you then tell me and I'll sort them out, I'm strictly against WMD and I am prepared to disarm nations who are irrisponable with their arsenal.
