One final role playing question before n00b graduation
this final question is that when i look at waring nations, they sometimes say they have lost 10 million people. HOw do you do this though

i'm still technically a newb, put i have already doen a few role plays....
the nation that i could use for this example would be National Ruin, his nation managed to raise a 70 million man army, an alliance was formed to stop National ruin's plans of invasion, in the resultant short, but brutal conflict, he claimed to have lost 10 million, at sea, land and Air, all you really have to do is admit a loss, you detrmin the ize, but if a nuke hits you you can't say "Ha it only killed 2 people!" that is Godmodding because your never allowing any losses, ever
What I meanm is how do you lower your population to make your loses seem real. I have a population of 9 million. If 1 million die, then ow do I change it to 8 million

NS population is not affected by an RP. It just grows and grows.
Don't copy how National Ruin RPs.

Most players either ignore the text description of their nations, or else rationaliize the differences between the way they roleplay the country and the text description (this is what I do, incidentally). There is no way to change your population except through time- and it will always go up.
If you are at war, and the enemy launches a successful nuclear attack on one of your cities, you're going to lose a lot of people. There are several good threads out there describing the effects of nukes on civilian populations, but most people assume that at least half the city targeted dies- either instantly or over the subsequent weeks from a variety of causes.
In such a case, it is up to you to play out the damage to your city. A lot of people do this by simply stating casualty figures because it's easier to think about that way. Other players write little stories describing the destruction.
As horrific as the human cost of such an attack is, the primary importance to a nation at war would really be the morale and production effects. This is where your roleplaying skills will be tested. You- as the nation's leader- will have to decide how to confront the sudden loss of a population center, the fears and expectations of your people, and the escalating military situation. You'll have to make a speech. It had better be good.

n00b hood? These crazy thing kids make these days...
By putting all those ":D" you proved you have not learnt anything. Also being a n00b means your annoying posting the "I kill you all threads", if your new your just a newb.
common, I mean I know the basics. i'm guessing you were joking though
another thing, the smiley's were there to be funny. but yeah, they were alot. And i don't say i'll kill you. I only declared war because Tannhauser was a threat to global security. Check out his post about his attrocities

thanx, I now know enouph do graduate n00b hood
Sigh!
Apparently not.
Let's take a look at the scorecard, shall we?
Posting multiple smilies for no good reason: -1/smiley = -21
Poor grammar: -1/mistake = -1
Poor spelling: -1/mistake = -2
Wow! That's -24 on a 9-word post!
That's right, Bob. A good start on proving n00bishness, but hardly a record.
In other words, you still have a lot to learn.

read the above post s@^%head
and don't say that is bad grammar. I just don't swear. and another thing. I said I learned enouph that i know how this game really plays. All the basics are learned. And bad grammar?! Bad spelling!? this is a fun forum, not school :tantrum: The smiley's I guess were a bit much but still
I smell puppet...
Also bad grammer and spelling count for a lot.
IF i did dis will i wiz takin 2 u u wud gt pssed of.
I know thats an extremity, but it still shows how annoying it can be, if i'm doing roleplay I type it in a wordprocessor with a spell checker.
Another thing if you copy into the reply box from an outside source "s and 's get turned into ?'s
Common, you know i'm not that bad
