Planning of a Historical WWII RP (Players required)
I am thinking of recreating a RP of Omaha beach, but i need help in planning it and i need players.

I'm intrested. This a soldier based RP? I.E. You are a single person and you're just telling you story?

Whether it's individual soldier (which would be more fun) or groups, I would love it if I got be either 101st or 82nd Airborne (101st most wanted).
Sounds like fun, I'm game.
I'm in. And If possible, I'll join Juko in the 101st Airborne Division.

You can either control 1 or a squad of soldiers.
It'll be weaponry from any era from WWII-Modern weapons.

My grandfather came in two days after Normandy began. He was an officer and supply man. When the men at the front were fighting, we has counting their rations and ammunition, 100 metres from the front. If the tide started turning, he had to jump in his truck and get moving...He stayed in Belgium mostly, but I recall him being in holland as well.
My other grandfather was in the hitler Youth at the same time, in Austria.
My great-uncle was somewhere in the Soviet Union at the time, fighting the German advance, or perhaps pushing Germany back into it's borders...

My grandfather was in the Marines during Omaha. Came out alive.
My next grandfather was a lieutenant in the Italian military at that time... HAH! I outrank you! :D
Interesting. When the thread is up, let me see it; I'm prolly gonna tag it.
We are mostly going to be doing the beach landing, but if this RP is sucessful we'll do normandy also. :D

My grandfathers were both to old to serve in the military, so they worked in the factories back in the US.
My great uncle got shot down in a B-24 Liberator over Germany before Normandy.
And I think my other great uncle fought in Italy, but I don't know that.
Interesting RP concept. I'll think about joining. Perhaps I'll land with the 82nd at Ste. Mere Eglise.
The RP will start as soon as i have finished getting enough players.
