USSA - Researchers at the University of Academear announced today the discovery of a new type of synthetic rubber, which they dubbed Lilpotan. With a press conference this afternoon, they officially released the rights to the formula to the entire world.

"Yes, we were worried about some of the implications this might have," the head researcher proclaimed. "Lilpotan has potential uses in making more resilient tank treads, and more deadly rubber ammunition. But, since day one, the impetus behind our research has been the pursuit of better medical equipment. Therefroe, we felt that the benefits to humanity outweighed the potential security threats."

All told, the tab for the program was 12 million dollars.

It has already been released into the world, for free, to all. Donations to the college can be submitted out of good will, though, in the form of infrastructure or technology.
