My nation is begging construction of an orbiting space defense sattelite. This satelite will fire a beam of super charged accelerated particles at oncoming threats such as missles, and destroy them. If your nation contributes new technology to be added to the sattelite, then the sattelite shall protect your nation as well.

Construction of this sattelite should be completed and be launched into space in around 1 week.

well, if you can suggest a way of firing particals, you actually can have it, most of the technology to build a point and click defense system exsists, I mean the world puts somthing like 800 communications satalites a year into orbit , and if you were a nation, you could put tons in (anyone remeber the cold war, all those icbm can put multipul satalites into orbit) and if you kept it quiet, you could have the whole system set up and running before anyone could stop you. Of course once you have working beam weapons, then you have to worry about someone on the ground firing them at your satalite. But I don't think this is godmodding per say, but if you are going to work with beam weapons, you better have some great new brake through that no one knows about (and if you do, private message me, we can build our own real one, and take over the world! hehehe). But neat idea, the whole star wars thing would be awsome if someone could do it... just sorta hard to keep a collection of atoms flying at a signitifcant portion of the speed of light from coliding with other atoms, but if you have a solution, please, do share. I want a orbiting space defence system, I mean the ultimate defence is just to go hijack a passing comet and then put it in ordit, and if anyone tries to attack you, you can just drop it on them (might kill everyone... it's a risk you'll have to take) Or if you want a less derastic solutions, you could put a mass driver on the moon, and then launch projecties at nations you don't like (you know, 1 ton metals slugs at somthing like 200 000 miles an hour, it hits like a nuclear weapon) but ya... lots of neat ideas if you want to explore using space for military purposes... like maybe a set of lasers, you could easily use a nuclear pumped Xray laser.... no need to worry about fall-out in space. Man, I should set my nation to developing those sweet bots in 2001 that replicate themselves... or the really cool ones from stargate SG-1, they are like so small and yet they can replicate... that would be unstoppable... but I think building an unstoppable force is not a good idea (compareable to godmodding, even if it is possible, you can't expect most people to have the IQ to relize that a heavyly funded research program can yeild miricals, like putting man on the moon in less than 10 years) Well, anyways... sweet idea, but you have nothing to bais it off of, it would allow to dominate the world, and basicly is not very realistic. So you could tone it down, mabye call it an orbiting solar satalite, make it paper thin and like 10 miles in diameter and has a microwave sender to beam the power to earth, or to point at a nation you don't like and suddenly heat things up for them. Take somthing that we have now, and just make it a little bigger... but don't take futureistic technology, because it changes everything.
